Hi All,

Thanks for all the posts, I've been reading them with great interest.

I'm going to Dr Acar in 12 days time. For me he has quoted 3500-4000 grafts with about 80% coverage for a natural look by FUE and with PRP for 1800 EUR.

Really looking forward to it now and hoping for great results, will post some photos when I get the chance.

I was just wondering how the new growth is going with your hair, have the new hairs regrown now as its been over 4 months now.

Also need advise on how to book with Dr Acar aswell as he doesnt seem to be getting back to me emails, could advised the best possible way of booking please

Hi 😊 its only been 2 months and 8 days since the surgery, so nothing major to see yet. I can see small colorless hairs coming in but I'm still in the ugly duckling phase.
Hmm I wrote his Dr Acar mail earlier in this post 😊

That's my transplant booked. 24th September for me. Cant wait

can anyone who has had a transplant done tell me if you have any say on your new hairline? Or is it Dr.Acar who decides and his word is final?

Also will I have to crop my hair short before I get there or will they cut it when I get there?

hi Steven1888, regarding the new hair line, after the Dr Drew where the new hairline was going to be I was asked if I was happy, which I was, this was not done by Dr acar, this was done by another Dr. They will also shave your head. If I can figure out how to upload some pics I will

Hi m8, I paid 1800 euros, for the fue, I left on the Monday operated on the Tuesday and back in sunny Glasgow for Wednesday, direct flight from Edinburgh airport to ataturk airport and back.job done. I also got £100 worth of Turkish lira, that got me 400 Turkish lira. That's what I payed extra, for 6 months medication, ( finesteride tablets, biotin tablets, 6 bottles of revigen shampoo) but they do accept all currency. You will also need to get a visa, saves a lot of hassle when you get to Turkey. You can do your visa online. Hope this helps m8.

Brilliant mate thanks a lot, had no idea about the visa so il make sure I have that before I go. I checked out flying from Edinburgh but I was cheaper to go from Glasgow via Heathrow! Ok will take euros and make sure I have Turkish lira with me aswell cheers!
