Hi guys, I’m in my late 20’s and a NW2/3. Been taking finasteride for 7months and minoxidil for 2months. My desires from a transplant would be as follows:

I want my hairline results to be as soft and natural as possible and grafts as close to native hair as safely possible in order to sport a very low grade haircut without any visible signs of transplantation. I am leaning towards FUE due to the fact i keep my sides short. In regards to temporal peaks I’ve never actually ever had these peaks, and hair has always been sparse here (I think). I’m from the uk and am willing to travel if needs be. My list of preferred surgeons are as follows in no particular order:

1. Dr ball
2. Dr saifi ( poland )
3. Farjo
4. Dr tam
5. Dr acar (turkey

I understand how important early treatment and correct research is. I am very intrigued by dr Saifi but haven’t found any reviews on this forum

Just a little context as to why I’m interested in dr Saifi, as we know MPB is a progressive condition and therefore multiple transplants over our lives is more than likely required. Like I said I’d prefer an FUE procedure due to less evident scarring HOWEVER Dr saifi’s FUT scars are virtually undetectable even when hair is shaved off! Some trycophitic closure. If this is the case then this does not diminish the potential graft count for FUE in the future

Have you had an consultations yet? Your donor looks good. To fill in your temple corners I’d go for fue. You won’t need that many grafts and if you chose fut, there is no guarantee the scar won’t stretch. Fue will leave scars but an educated extraction pattern and skilled clinic should reduce the visibility.

I had an email back from dr Saifi, he says that I will require approx 2000 grafts for the hairline, no mention of temporal points although I don’t think I’ve ever had them in the first place. I’m awaiting an email back from dr tam. Any recommendations/ tips? I’ve been following threads for a while, and yes my username was inspired by you

So mark tam got back to me with a hairline drawn onto my pictures and a graft estimate of 1500-2100grafts for the estimated area of 30-35cm^2. With an estimated 50 grafts per cm^2. Costing around £8,200 in comparison to 4.3k for dr Saifi. Pictures are attached. Does it seem a bit conservative? Or do you think this is quite a good design.
