Dependent on the severity of the scar, the cause, depth etc blood flow can sometimes be increased or decreased from the normal tissue surrounding the area. Placing grafts into the scar tissue has to take into account the severity of the scarring, maybe adjusting the density of hair placed to give survival rates a better chance of high yield for example.
