Paddyirishman1, congratulations on your surgery, it looks good. Would it be possible for you to post a picture of your beard area showing how it looks now? I`m thinking of using beard hairs for grafting into my scar. Just a little cautious about whether the scars show up.

@scared up From my experience you will have no scarring to the naked eye after extraction of beard grafts . If you wish to go back over my previous posts you will see more pictures and get an idea of what to expect . It's critical you do plenty of research and choose a Doctor who has proven consistently good results , and make sure to speak with past patients.

I could certainly live with that look. Thanks for adding a photo and the advice as it gives me a better understanding of what to expect. I definitely won`t be rushing into anything.

5 MONTH UPDATE

I'M VERY HAPPY WITH PROGRESS TO DATE. THE TRANSPLANTED HAIR HAS STRENGTENED AND IS GETTING THICKER AND MATURING . I CAN ALSO NOTICE THE HAIR IS GETTING DARKER .

MY DONER AREAS FEELS GREAT AND HAS DONE FOR THE LAST FEW MONTHS.

I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO MORE DENSITY OVER THE NEXT FEW MONTHS . I KNOW I'M ONLY 5 MONTHS POST HT SO THINGS WILL ONLY IMPROVE FURTHER AS THE NEXT FEW MONTHS WILL SURELY SHOW MORE GROWTH AND DENSITY.

ANY COMMENTS OR QUESTIONS FEEL FREE.

PADDY

Looks great Paddy. Not even at the halfway stage yet and you already have the appearance of a full head of hair.

@Bigmac Thank you for your kind comments. Yes it's hard to believe I have not quite reached the 6 month mark just yet. I'm very pleased with growth up to now, and as you say I seem to have the appearance of a full head of hair which is true. I got a haircut in the last few days before this picture . The illusion of density is part and parcel of the skill set of a highly skilled doctor. The great thing to look forward to, there is still more density and growth to appear for further improvement.

Any comments or questions please feel free.

Paddy.

You are correct, not many people can have their original density replaced, usually, some can have dense packing in certain areas, donor permitting but for most, it is an illusion of density that takes skill and good planning.
Eugenix has certainly accomplished this so far for you.

6 MONTH UPDATE
I'M VERY HAPPY WITH MY RESULT AND HT. I FEEL I HAVE IMPROVED AND COME A LONG WAY FROM WHERE I STARTED. MY NEWLY TRANSPLANTED HAIR IS MATURING AND GETTING STRONGER WEEK BY WEEK. THE DENSITY IS IMPROVING AND HOPEFULLY WILL CONTINUE TO IMPROVE IN THE NEXT FEW MONTHS. THE LAST IMAGE IS WHERE I STARTED FROM.
ANY QUESTIONS OR COMMENTS PLEASE FEEL FREE.
Paddy.

It's getting better by the month. A lot of people would be happy to have what you have now at 12 months never mind 6. Your new hairline and non balding look has transformed you and still 6 months to go.
You must have that feel good factor.
Thanks for the update.
All the best.
Bm.

Thanks Bigmac. Yes I feel a couple of feet taller with the new look. It's a great place to be after only 6 months. I'm hoping for more improvement as I'm still at an early stage as such on the journey but as you pointed out in all honestly if I dont get any more improvement I really can't complain at all.
Thanks again,
Paddy

@bullitnut Thank you for your kind words. Yes it sure is a long way from where I started alright. Plenty of patience is required for the HT journey, but well worth the wait. I'm hoping for further improvement over the coming months ahead.
Thanks again bullitnut.
