finasteride and minoxidil combination spray, does it work?

Hi guys, quick question. Has anyone tried topical finasteride and minoxidil combination spray? I spoke to one clinic yesterday and they recommended using it. Apparently it doesn’t have the side affects of finasteride tablets. I am interesting to hear some views. Is it just a gimmick? Or will it actually work? So it’s finasteride and minoxidil all in one spray bottle. I’d appreciate some advice

What clinic has said this? You can still get side effects but less chance than using it orally. Was there a particular name of the spray?

It was Juvida clinic and they have another offspring business which is Dense hair. I am really confused, more research I do, the more complex it seems to get

Bigmac is right I've also read that sides are possible still although supposedly less common and less harsh if they do....however I've never used it myself so its just what I've read dude sorry?

I’ve never used it. I did use minoxidil liquid and foam version. The liquid certainly makes your hair look and feel greasy. I found the foam was much better to use but both irritated my scalp forcing me to stop it’s use.

You could apply once a day an hour or so before bed, or earlier if you’re just at home, then wash it out in the morning.

Someone mentioned there is a finesteriade/minoxidil foam available. Looking for it online, haven’t had much luck finding it.

Thanks for that, that’s the only one I did come across. Have you used it yourself?

Never used it myself. Why don’t you try my suggestion of using once a day at night.

Unfortunately I think the greasyness is part and parcel with these products.....Minoxidil is awful imo too for making your hair look greasy, I'd do what BM suggests as it will look much better come morning....the minox did for me anyway.
