Yes my beard hair is very close to my scalp hair so it all blends very well. But I have seen some pictures posted to the forums where it is very obvious if beard hairs were used it would not blend well and would only make a bad situation worse. The ethical clinics sadly have to turn those patients away but those in the shadows are always willing to take their money.

You have come a long way Catster and I am pleased for you dude.I think your posts like the majority on here are honest and to the point and I respect those qualities in anyone as bullshit has no place on here IMHO.

Keep up the good work dude and would love to see a new shot now with concealer and nanogen as I think it will look even more impressive than before and I was impressed then! ;-)

Thanks everyone I always appreciate the comments and although I don €™t always comment on results I wish everyone else only the best in their own journeys.

BM thank you for that comment about the hair blending in well. I caught some of a recent internet broadcast and heard someone in the industry comment that not only did he feel fue results in low yield but that bodyhair on the head looks like bodyhair on the head. I thought this was a completely false and self serving statement. I have seen fue where the yield was low and I have seen bodyhair transplanted to the head that looked odd. But ethical and highly skilled clinics achieve high yield with fue and they don €™t plant body and beard hair with total disregard with how it will look.

In my situation all the beard and bodyhair has blended in very well. I also know for a fact from reading another forum that BHR in particular has turned prospective patients away when they feel the hair caliber of the beard and body is not close enough to give a pleasing result. So to lump every clinic together and make a broad statement like that when one works in the industry and should be very well aware of the differences just reinforces what I already know about this industry.

I don €™t enjoy having to take a negative tone so often but when I see these types of things happening it does get under my skin.

Masher thank you. I have always tried to take pictures under the brightest and harshest lighting possible. Here is a picture from today with lighting that is a bit more flattering.

There have been posters on others forums who don't quite get the improvement I have made with just these 2 small procedures. Here is a comparison of 3 photos. The first photo is me before using concealer at a New Year €™s Eve party and in bad lighting, the second picuture is now in very harsh lighting and the third is now in lighting that is flattering.

In my opinion there is a drastic difference for the better.

Here is a copy of the post on another forum. I still can €™t figure out the poster €™s angle and maybe he has none. But it does seem like an odd response to someone who must be a hair loss sufferer as he is posting to a hair loss message board. Why would he post such a message does he really believe there has been no improvement.

The message itself does not bother me as it is very far from the truth. What does bother me are forums that seem to be quite okay with posters and clinics attacking other posters although this particular post would fall well below an attack in my opinion. But when it does happen it seems to be okay while a legitimate criticism of the industry itself even without mentioning names is often not tolerated.

This is how the system and a few of the forums operate so those researching beware of moderators always in defense of clinics and rarely of patients while also banning those same patients.

[suB]Hate to tell you this man but just leave it bald

Much better look for you
why look 90% bald, in that area on top, You think thats a better look?
think of all the money you are wasting

some guys on the board think that ANY improvement no matter how small , makes them a stud women will fall all over them or something

IMO if you get a transplant and that area still looks mostly bald, or half bald
why bother? save your money

A lot of these posters are just plain Ignorant when it comes to Hair Transplantation. Many expect miracles to be performed. I can see the improvement and It is a lot better than when you started. There are people though even in my family who want to just see a full head of hair and if it is not then they think why bother. It again is the uneducated public who do not understand that we can see the difference from when we started because we can compare it everyday in our bathroom mirrors. Do not listen to them topcat. Bald is not a great look for every person and I understand that once a person is scarred, shaving ones head is out. It does not fit every person though. I tried it in the summer of 1985 the year before I started the surgeries and did not like it at all. Do what is right for yourself and SCREW everyone else! I think that you have come a long way considering the scarring and small amount of grafting done. I also understand that even small improvements in our eyes are big compared to how others view this. They simply do not understand how difficult it is to fix. Especially a Hairlift. That surgery has ruined a lot of people. Keep up the good work. Only listen to yourself because that is who has to be content. No one else.;)

Thanks Diamond. The poster represents the flip side of the coin, those with unrealistic expectations and someone who should not seek a solution to hair loss or repair through surgical means. Of course each situation is different but expectations on the part of the patient need to be reasonable.

First of all that guy obviously hasn't read anything about you and has no idea why this is such a big and necessary improvement. Secondly about the "stud women will fall over" comment, he obviously hasn't seen your physique!!!! Most women wouldn't even notice your hair much less care about it after seeing those pecs man!

Masher all 3 pictures are using concealer. That top picture was the best I could do with the hair I had at the time, but I still had a good time at the party along with everyone around me. This is what I think the poster that made the comment fails to understand. People like to be around other people that they can laugh with and have good conversation. I have taken the approach of making people laugh more along with having more things of interest to say as opposed to becoming reclusive because of my hair situation.

I didn €™t take what he poster wrote too personally because in all honesty is does not apply in my situation. But if I had to guess I would say that it probably applies more to the poster who wrote those words.

LOL thank for the support Levrais.

Thanks BM, if you look at the post with the 3 pictures in that top picture I am actually using about twice as much concealer as the bottom picture but it would appear to be the opposite. This really is a good example of how having extra hair makes all the difference.
