All the best for your next HT.
How are you cooking up these eggs.

Well normally I eat them soft boiled for about 6-7 minutes. The less heat food is exposed to the better. Of course I could eat them raw and have done in the past but they are more enjoyable when they are cooked and seasoned with a little bit of Celtic sea salt.

On occasion I will eat them scrambled with added raw butter to the top once they are cooked. That would be butter that comes from unpasteurized unprocessed raw milk. Extremely nutrient dense in fat soluble vitamins and if you believe some of the research X factor.

I know many think this might this might not be serious but for me it €™s a way of life. I haven €™t used medication, prescription or OTC other then whatever they give for the HT procedure in probably 20 years. I simply do not suffer from all this little aches, pains and much of the distress that many others experience.

Also to be honest I do feel if I eat what the big food processors are serving up then I €™m being a sucker and I have had enough of that with my previous HT experiences. So I guess this has all had an effect on me in a positive way.

I will be uploading some current pictures of my case as next week I will be having my 3rd procedure with BHR. Yes the procedures are small but that makes them affordable and I can say without doubt the yield is exceptional along with the healing, what more could a person ask for.

The first set of pictures are the most important at least they are for me. Picture number 1 is my before picture using a massive amount of concealer while the following 3 pictures require only a light dusting of concealer. For me this is huge and only I know the difference it has made in making my life easier as I don €™t have to stress out about how my hair looked like crap in the first picture. I understand many others might not quite get it but then they probably never will.

Hi Topcat, I wish you well next week and look forward to your next update. Also, I hope you will be able to work with Stephen when you are there, his Chicago accent was coming along nicely last year :)

Thanks everyone.

Levrais I guess I do have a little bit of an accent even for Chicago as other Chicagoans ask me where I €™m from as I now live on the North side of the city. Something unique to the South side of Chicago where I grew up is the accent which is hard to lose once you have it. Here €™s a quick lesson, greet everyone with how ya doin? Then if you really want to make it authentic add the any of the following pal, chief, boss, or buddy.

Stephen is a good guy always quick with a cup of tea €¦.lol €¦..but really it €™s nice to walk into a clinic and feel very comfortable being there and everyone there gives you that feeling.

Just updating with my donor area pictures before I leave for Brussels this week. I have been in the sun a little as once I have my procedure I will need to avoid it so loading up my vitamin D levels beforehand would seem to make some sense and I am 100% against using sunscreen as I believe the consequences are exactly the opposite of their intent.

My experience has been zero white dotting and extremely high yield. I tend to hear this misinformation by many of the other clinics. Not that white dotting does not exist for some patients but this issue comes down to choices that a patient makes as too many choose for convenience, same goes for yield. Just choose the right clinic.

This will be my 3rd procedure and the hairs should be starting to come in right around my 50th birthday which is a gift I am most grateful for. I also plan on dropping about 20lbs as I no longer need to carry the extra weight around which was job related. Of course I will do this over time as that is the best way to approach goals in my book. Slowly with constant and never ending improvement and I would suggest the same for anyone contemplating a hair transplant.

Take your time and make your choices because they are the right choices and not because they are convenient.

My chest hairs have been trimmed beforehand with lots of gray same with the beard.

Hi Topcat,

I've just finished reading this thread. You've certainly been through the ringer, but your calm demeanor and philosophical outlook on life (not to mention excellent dietary advice) does you credit.

Congratulations on your results with BHR ;)

Hey Sparky I €™m not sure if that was a light hearted comment or not but I €™m sure it was. But you are right in a way I am showing off that I don €™t have white dots on my chest as I get tired of hearing from these strip only clinics that FUE results in low yield and white dotting. They are giving prospective patients misinformation and it turns my stomach. The fact is the majority of patients have been put into a position where that don €™t know what is true any longer and they are confused as what to believe.

It also does make me a little crazy sometimes that people in general give very little weight to the experiences of a patient in making hair transplant decisions as if their knowledge is limited. Same goes for nutrition. I have spoken to many registered dieticians and even helped one with her resume along with several letters in hopes of her receiving an internship. She has that piece of paper but she doesn €™t know jack shit and what she does know is all wrong as that information she was taught has been hijacked by industries that are in the business of making money. Sound familiar.

So yes sometimes I like to make a point.

Thanks Sparky ;)

The thing with nutrition and fitness is that 90% of the information out there is complete bullshit. Once someone understands this they can make better decisions and it all becomes very easy. Convincing them is the hard part.

I cant find anything out there on what i should be eating to max my results, all i find websites charging for diet plans, couldnt find anything telling me basically what i should eat and at what time in the day and how many times. Im working out 5 times a week, 3 in the gym with weights and 2 cardio, and i know that i would be seeing better gains if my nutrition was spot on, my diet is healthy, but not exactly right for maxing my results!
