Good to hear the ingrown hairs have cleared, hopefully the moisturiser will soothe away any remaining redness.

All the best.

Thanks BM yes I had more in grown hairs than usual but I think it might of had to do with the skin under the chin being thinner, but that is just a guess.

I will update that area in 2 weeks as I'm sure the redness will be completely gone as it had more to do with the benzoyl peroxide.

Are you still using the concealer every day dude as it looks a lot better and more natural now.

Man you really went through it with the ingrowns this time. It looks like its behind you now. Maybe you can get a patent for the new treatment :)

Bulitnut yes I'm still using concealer as I need it for the scars on the back of my head. But as for the top and hairline very little which is a relief.

I must say I am very happy with the progress.

Here are the pictures I promised 2 weeks after I stopped using benzoyl peroxide as the ingrown hairs that I was experiencing were really making me crazy. As I have written it probably had more to do with the thinner skin under the chin but that is just a guess. As I have also written I take full responsibility for my healing process and in no way has the clinic recommended that I apply benzoyl peroxide to those ingrown hairs. In a few more weeks I fully expect the area to be pristine once again and I have had approximately 750 beard hair grafts from that small area. Although sometimes I don €™t show it this has made such a huge difference for me that I can €™t even begin to tell you.

Hi Dazzster thank you. Yes probably another session around the same time towards the end of the year. How many grafts I have left is really unknown and in my case needs to be assessed as the process happens. I like these small sessions and small improvements it works very well for me as after each procedure I can just get back on with life like nothing is happening.

You are looking much better now Topcat. Could you please post a before picture using your concealer and an after picture with concealer so we can see the overall improvement.

Hi Shinytop I was going to wait at least another 3 months for that as it has only been a little over 3 months since the procedure.

I like to show these preliminary pictures so that others can see the healing process the majority of growth has yet to come.

I did have a rep ask me about the ingrown hairs and for me that was part of the process more so with the beard hairs under the chin. Certainly not something to hide but to share with others so they can know this is a possibility. For me it is hardly something to be concerned about but others might see it differently and they have the right to know so that they can make an informed decision.

Shinytop I took some quick photos for comparison even though it €™s early in the process. It €™s snowing heavily here some that is what those drops of water are towards the back. I have a before photo both with and without concealer. I looked completely ridiculous before with the concealer but I got along shockingly well dealing with hundreds of people on a weekly basis. I no longer have eyes drift towards my hairline as I converse with someone, many know exactly what I am talking about and have a bad hair transplant is one thousand times worse than being bald.

Some have asked me if the beard hair grafts kept growing with so much hair now I really can €™t tell. But I will say that most of the hairs on the last procedure were place just in back of the hairline and I now use only a small amount of concealer about 3-4 cm behind it which is what we were trying to accomplish as the hairline in critical in having a normal appearance.

Thankyou Topcat for adding the pictures early. It looks like you have come far from your starting point picture.

If my eyes are not decieving me it looks like you can see some new growth if you look very close at the last picture.

In your honest opinion how many more procedures do you think you are likely to have before you are content?

Shinytop I agree as I saw some growth as early as 8 weeks so when I see all this hype about Acell I just don €™t quite get it. I think many misunderstand some of my posts as being mean but it €™s really not my intent. It is only to say that I have more growth at 8 weeks than I have seen with these hyped up pictures using Acell. I mean come on these are medical clinics how about showing some proof that can be verified in some way. I'm always bothered when I see these types of things and I feel it's important to comment.

In my honest opinion I really don €™t know how many more procedures. What I will say is that I like to always take everything I do to the limit and many around me sometimes have a hard time figuring it out. They will compliment me on my discipline but at the same time it seems very strange to them. It €™s no different here with posting as it is something important to me and that is why I do it. So the same applies to the procedures I will take it as far as it can possibly go.

Them pictures look great especialy after looking at the before picture , you still got the last session coming in as well so its early days their even though you are getting growth already, imagine if you can get another 1000 grafts , as you said your going as far as you can.

Cheers

I needed new batteries for my camera so this picture was taken after I applied some concealer. This is at 5 months after my 3rd procedure of approximately 500 grafts. The goal was to place them in the frontal 1/3 in hopes that I could use zero concealer in that area and use it only about halfway back on my head. At this point I am ecstatic as I have reached that goal, no more Justin Bieber style for this 50 year old.

Another reason I wanted to eliminate the use of concealer on the front half of my head is that without it the look is much more natural and exactly why although I always have the reflex expectation of someone looking at my hairline during a conversation it just does not happen anymore €¦ €¦.lol €¦ €¦ €¦.that is a really great feeling.

I also had an incident that happened several years ago with a female co-worker. She went to wipe my forehead with a tissue because she saw what she thought was dirt €¦ €¦ €¦..lol €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦talk about being stressed out, but I can laugh about it now. Without having to use concealer in the front half that is no longer an issue.

I will update without concealer in the next few days. It €™s still very early but so far I €™m very happy.
