Hi Topcat,

You are looking great, all of a sudden it's filled in. The use of concealer at the back looks natural. Way better than 6 months ago, so please for you.

Below are a set of pictures showing my progression with the bottom picture being 5 months after my 3 procedure using a combination of scalp, beard and chest hair. BTW if you look closely at that first picture you will see what appears to be an open sore. Those were the smaller ones and I had one much larger slightly back. Those open sores I along with many others that had certain procedures were there for over 10 years. Of course they were worrisome but one just puts it towards the back of there mind and tries to forget about it. Ever since I had fue's planted in that area it has all completely disappeared.

Much Improved! It will continue to thicken up over the next few months also. I noticed that with my results.

Topcat, that's really quite a change so far. Have you decided if you will have another procedure?

Hi Levrais yes I plan on going back in September. After that I will have to see how my donor areas look as far as availability. The biggest hump for me was getting on a plane and traveling to Europe that first time, now that part is a piece of cake.

Personally I really like this approach of small improvements over time. It fits in very well with my own philosophy; you just keep building on the previous improvement.

This is how I have ended up approaching things as well. I imagine that I will go back at least one more time also.

Definitely a piece of cake now. Except for the weather I have actually gotten to like Brussels.

4 awesome repairs with SMG
Got to agree with Levrais here...it looks sooooo much better now dude. Do you plan on using anymore chest hairs in September or are you just sticking with the beard for now?

Hi Bullitnut, thank you.

Well to be honest I actually liked the last session and if the beard hair is there than maybe just scalp if there is any left and beard for now I will see what Dr. Bisanga thinks. I feel I have a pretty good pain tolerance and the procedure itself is a piece of cake for me, but I did twinge a little during those chest extractions, it is a little more sensitive.

I wanted to share this picture mostly with anyone who is a repair patient or just has a bad hair transplant. I got up very early this morning having to do some outside work and was caught in a very heavy downpour. Normally I would have to stop working and take cover or put on a hat as many ht patients know sometimes this procedure can completely alter your life and most don €™t understand until it happens to them.

Anyway I was able to continue to work and not worry for me that €™s incredible progress.

Hi Topcat....

Congrats....

I know that feeling only too well....before my repair anything like rain, wind etc would cause me to panic....it took so long to try and style my hair to hide my old plugs...only to have it wrecked by bad weather and send to off to hide or grab a hat....though I do know that I did not need bad weather for my hair / head to look horrible, pluggy and scarred....

After my repair I had no worries, it's a very hard feeling to explain....but it's a great one...

I even took a scuba diving course once my repair had fully matured and did not give a second thought to having a soaking wet head when coming out of the water.....

A good repair is like a second chance at life :)

Even though my hair has thinned a bit and the old pluggy look is just about noticeable it's a far cry from my paranoid days of avoiding people seeing my head....

Again.... Congrats...

Tim

Thanks Tim we are definitely on the same wave length.

It's almost like a cell door being opened from a long imprisonment.

Thanks everyone for the comments.
