Looks great Topcat even wet. Very natural result, you must be very pleased.

And a really good point as you say, its the little things getting back to normality like getting caught in rain and not having to panic or rush off or grab a hat. These are the real watershed moments after a HT and make you realise how far you have come.

For me its getting out of the shower in the morning and getting out of bed and the house in bout 15 mins with no fuss or awful concealing routine. :)

It is a great feeling getting some sort of normalness back in your life. Your repair strategy has paid off hugely.

All the best

These pictures at 6 months taken outside in daylight are very exciting for me. I don €™t need to use concealer in the hairline. That coupled with the skin taking on a natural tone from the sun because of no concealer plus the slight hair lightening effect makes my hairline look completely natural at this point as the contrast is greatly reduced.

Thanks Levrais and I would have to agree as we are only talking about 500+ grafts and the difference has been huge.

I don't know what to say and I don't want to take this all for granted as it is very easy to do. This is life changing in many ways for me.

Love it! Looks great already dude. Do you have an ultimate goal, mine was to look normal and bin the hat but I'm guessing you have one too.

Thanks bullitnut. I don €™t really have any ultimate goal. I have adopted this philosophy of just trying to improve in all areas of my life over the years and there is never any end goal as there is always room for improvement.

Sadbutture thank you I think it €™s important to post and regardless of when my repair journey ends my posting journey will certainly never end. In fact I would like to do something bigger as there is a need.

Topcat,

I had some spare time and read your thread today there was so much I could relate to about the dread of going out in the rain before your repair sessions. There are so many other things that you also end up avoiding, sitting in direct sunlight, under spotlights in a restaurant, in front of a window! I could go on.

The hair is looking really improved from your starting point I wish you the best with your continued growth. I also have to congratulate you on the body, you look great, I wish I had the motivation to get myself in that shape!

Thank you Garageland. Actually getting into shape can be fairly easy at least once you obtain the knowledge which took me a very, very long time. Funny thing is that it is almost the opposite of much of what is marketed but that is just the way it is and if one can read through the history of the industry one can understand what we have today.

We can also probably laugh about some of the things we learned to avoid over the years. I worked in a night club that had laser pin lights over head €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦..you most definitely did not want to be standing underneath one of those. Nor would you want to be caught under the black light on the dance floor wearing concealer €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦.lol €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦.

I once had a waitress wipe my forehead with a napkin for me because it looked like there was some dirt on it......wow talk about being stressed out..........lol......

I thought I would shave the sides down as I like the look better and it gives others a chance to see my scalp donor as all the scalp fue €™s were taken from the sides.

I wanted to post this picture of the hair combed back away from the face as I have been getting bolder, just testing at this point. With concealer only in the crown and strip scars and the sides cut down short it is really looking natural in my opinion and that is the ultimate goal just to look normal.
