I’ve been on Forhims topical fin/minoxidil for 2 months now. I’ve already been using regaine (liquid then foam for 15y). But in recent years (esp after starting resistance training and HIIT) it’s gone to that state where it bothers me. So thanks to advice on another thread I decided to give forhims topical fin a try (i tried tablets 15y ago but suffered sides so stopped pretty quickly).
I’m exactly two months in now, but haven’t even used half the first bottle which should have lasted 3m. I’m applying 4 sprays once a day as directed. Since I haven’t experienced sides I’m reluctant to increase the dose.
I’m seeing lots of baby hairs. Black in colour, about 0.5cm long. As you can see from baseline the area wasn’t slick to begin with, but there’s a lot more of them now. And they are thicker and longer. Some have started curling back which I hadn’t seen in along time. Before I started i wouldn’t notice anything in the mirror. Now it looks a bit like a faint 5 o’clock shadow. And actually kind of messy aesthetically.
My question is, is this what I would hope to be seeing? Or should I consider upping the dose (based on using 1/3rd of the bottle a month). Given I had sides on oral fin I’m reluctant to do this for obvious reasons, if the current dose is doing a good job.
