Hello
I was at the Manchester fue europe on Fri
I was a model so I had a free fue
I had a strip scar repair by fue into the scar
I had 350 grafts into the scar
Here are some pic
I've had 3 hair transplant but now wishing to shave my hair short no 1 or 2 guard as I'm done with trying to style my hair using concealer etc

This is interesting, who did your surgery during the conference was it one Doctor or multiple doctors working together? How does a person become a model during these conferences?

Your hair looks thick from the angles shown in the photographs why do you need concealers?

Hello
The surgeons were dr micheal Lee
Korea and dr crystal kyparisou greece
They were both trained by dr cole
I got to be a model by just sending my pics to dr cole who thought I would be a interesting case, there wasn't enough time to do the top scar.
I use concealer ie fibres at the front cos my transplant are still see through and I have patchy thin areas around the transplant. just fed up with all concealers
Trust me u will never get the thickness u want with transplants,I've had 3 in same receding areas still not happy, still get people's eyes looking up at my hairline
Also the angles of the transplants are very bad, I can only pull off the comb over to one side cos that's how angles go
My aim is just to clipper my hair no 1 as I think my hair just looks and feels better
Also
My aim is to have more fue into the scars again to give it the 3d look then have trichpigmetation in scars and transplant areas on top to give the scalp colour etc

Hi bigMac
Oh great I knew I was being filmed but I thought they would show it next day at hotel
Yeah it went really well and my redness and scabs almost cleared up now
Just matter of waiting.i been looking at hairloss experience and bald truth for long time now but never regiesterd
Just a question are you based in uk if so where, just be good to meet up if not too far show u in person etc
I'm still not happy with my transplant
The angles are the main issue for me

Yes, I`m based in the UK. I`ll be organising a patient and doctor meetup again when I do I`ll let you know. You meet doctors and patients alike which is great.

Are you planning on having the wrong angled grafts punched out? Any plans for the strip scar?

Ok great I always meet doctors but never patients
Yeah my aim is to have the top scar filled with fue
When I shaved my hair down to no1 or 2 my transplant hairs stick straight up dont blend in with own hair also hairline too straight for me so yeah have them punched out then put back in at correct angle and maybe create a better maturer hairline

It will take some time getting them punched out, placed elsewhere, wait for punch outs to heal, then place new grafts in those areas.
Meeting patients is great, it is relaxed, you speak with like-minded people, check out each others hair.

Oh yeah I know, took me 15yrs to get my hair this decent and still not happy ha
Yeah much rather speak to patients who had it done cos id like them to be honest about how it looks
It it looks crap tell me it's crap
Ok let me know when and where u have meet up, Birmingham is best for me ?
My scar would have healed by then show u how it looks
Cheers bigmac

Just one more question bigmac
Hope u don't mind
Do u think it would be a lot easier for me just to shave it all off no 1 guard
Maybe have a small fue into that top scar then just have trichopigetation
?
Cheers

Awesome pictures dude thanks for responding to my post. Bigmac is a good guy and knows his stuff so his advice will always be in your best Interest dude I've had the pleasure of meeting him a few times. What type of SMP are you talking about after you sort the scars out......the temp option or the more permanent variety?

I would consider the temp option first if the SMP ends up being your preference but if you do decide the permanent option then I would get in touch with Damon Ashcroft he is one of the industry's top practitioners and has been about donkeys years.....hes also close to Birmingham I think.

Hello
I've been to brandwood clinic and his hair clinic who do the perm smp.
Looks ok but my opinion still that blue helmet head appearance
All hair transplant clinics I've been to say only do the trichopigetation by Melina lardi
I've not seen anybody who has the trichopigetation but I have seen the perm smp lasts 4 to 5 yrs procedure,my opinion something slightly off with the perm one.
My issue with the trichopigetation is constant fading, top ups, time off work ?
Tricky

I understand your concerns and worries and they are the same as mine too. I have seen some permanent SMP that looks good myself.... but I've also seen the helmet head blue look you mention too, I personally think the helmet head blue look comes from people wanting it too dark... a shaved head is meant to be light and when the permanent ink goes too dark it can give a slight blue Hue. It does look better when the person has some hair though as they dont need as much ink.
I do like the tricopigmentation and think it makes more sense to try that method first.

I think I would be good candidate for trichopigetation as I have plenty of hair on top
The transplants gave me a hairline that frames the face so just have trichopigetation around the areas where it looks thin.
In my opinion I don't think u can get a good hairstyle with transplants
The transplant always look thin and stringy looking when longish
It always seems to be that thin comb over look to one side style that people sport after transplant surgery, u know that school geography teacher look

I've seen some amazing transplants dude so its certainly possible to get good density and sport a decent hair style...I think a lot depends on who you go with and how much donor you have. That being said if your planning on The tricopigmentation method and are happy to sport the shaven look (doesnt suit everyone) then you can achieve the look of a full head of hair which will be easier to maintain if your using a lot of concealer at the minute.....the added benefit is you will have stubble due to hair there and it should if done right create a 3d look. Just make sure you use a good tricopigmentation specialist or you could make things a whole lot worse dude.

I think I'm just looking for perfection.
As u can tell I'm really fussy ha.
Its all about the styling of the hair, certain lengths makes it look better,
Good days and bad days etc,
That said my last op was 2010, I know lot of things in the hair industry have improved.
Thanks for the advice
I'll pop some pics up over the coming months to show how my scar is getting on.
