They advised me to do fue in scar to make the scar invisible so I can cut my hair very short.

Does somebody have experience with this treatment, does it work properly?

Thanks

4 awesome repairs with SMG
Seen some very good results from this type of procedure and there are a few regular posters on here that have done this.....I know it will obviously allow hair to be cut shorter.

How short are you thinking though?........ as imo it still doesn't allow hair to go really short (GRADE 1)without being noticable

I have seen this procedure done at a few clinics I have worked at over the years. It is successful depending on a few factors.

How large is your scar? CM length and width?

Turelue,

Here is an example of what I believe what you are describing. This is a poster called BK169 that posts on another hair forum. He is also wanting to know what his options are in terms of either repairing his scar and/or going forward in his hair restoration. Is this similar to your scar? Yes I know this depiction is a triple scar... but in terms of what you describe as a 0.5mm to 0.9mm width... is this you?

I am sure you can... but he hasn't gotten an FUE yet. He is from a different hair forum. He just started asking questions like you are.

In my opinion in a situation above and only having one strip there are a few options:

1. Cut the scar out. Double layer stitches. Pray that the scar doesn't re-stretch.
2. Aggressive FUE into the scar. Dense packing it.
3. Conservative FUE into the scar by way of more than one session.
4. Micropigmentation only.
5. FUE and then micropigmentation.
;)

I`d like to see your scar to compare with my own as I`m still pondering which option will be my next move.

Hello Turelure,

Congratulations on your recent FUE procedure, I trust it will work out well for you as 500 grafts should fill the scar tissue with nice density. Where did you have your procedure performed? I was hoping you would update your thread as I`m in a similar situation and not sure which way to go yet.

Good luck buddy.

Hello, i've no pic from right after the fue. Width was +/- 8mm. I would post new pic in a couple days.

I was going bald all over the top of my head. Previously, I had a minor procedure here in this country, when 1,000 grafts were transplanted, it was not overly successful, even though I spent the price of a small car on it. Later, I travelled to Switzerland, I purchased ca. 1,200 grafts and ca. 800 were transplanted. My 3rd hair transplantation was performed at PHAEYDE Clinic. This time I did not leave it to luck, they counted the 1,400 grafts in front of me, in 1 day. I paid half as much as I had paid back then in Switzerland. On the fourth occasion I went to PHAEYDE without a second thought. I had hardly any donor area remaining, they could practically only extract from around my ears, a total of 800 grafts. I can already see the result, I am satisfied. My only regret is that I had spent so much money previously here in this country and in Switzerland.
