Hair Advice

Good day all,

I would really appreciate some input on something that is bugging me please.

My hair seems to have thinned out a bit and receeded I would estimate to around a Norwood 2.

I have ordered some generic Finasteride from inhousepharmacy a couple of times and feel a little more dubious about ordering online now as I prefer to know I am getting the real drug.

I'm between contracts in work and am now looking for a full time role and the whole hair loss subject is something I can well do without at the moment. I am dubious of going to the Boots (UK) programme as the people there are more likely to be inclined to sell a course and possibly mess with your head a bit. I think this is something that if my eyes do not deceive me I need to accept bit by bit which at the minute I do not want to deal with and do not need anything to mess with me whilst I'm securing my career situation.

My options as I assess them are :

1. Order on line and risk getting fake drug
2. Order through Dr Ashcroft who does Proscar & Gen Pros 5mg which need undignified chopping up
3. Order through GP & persuade to prescribe of 5mg Proscar and chopping up again.
4. Order through Boots programme and risk messing my head up at untimely moment
5. Not order anything

What would opinions on this be ?

chopping proscar up isnt a hard thing to do..... i may be wrong but i also thought Boots did an online consult for their propecia programme

Boots are well expensive for anything bear in mind.If you want to get MERCK Propecia it is expensive in any U.K chemist.I get mine from pharmacy2u/prescriptions at £90 for 3 months and I cut pills in half and take every other day now for 2 years so it doesnt cost me much and it works in this dose for me.You still need a G.P prescription to send to this company before they send out pills.

Will call Boots and find out if they do this. You can get where I'm coming from re messing with your head on this right ?

I feel if its something I need to face up to a bit more then I'm better doing this once I'm fairly established in a new company rather than running the risk of dinking/denting confidence before I've interviewed etc.

Any other takes on this ?

dont know much about this as ive never had the need to go to Boots but from what ive read it looks as though its £90 for 12 weeks

Dr Ashcroft is a reliable source best to stick to the branded product imo.
