Thanks Bverotti.
Thanks Topccat for the advice ~ for sure I will take a cautious approach. I'm thinking maybe 2000 grafts concentrating in the frontal half, wait the 12 months for the outcome and maybe by that time I'll have some growth in the crown from the meds.

just from what ive read and people journeys, you could try biotin, msm, hairfinity, good shampoos, healthy eating..im on msm now and my hair and beard are growing faster than they were.. i started using minoxidil about 3weeks ago so im waiting to see the results of that also. i think you should try these things before using fin.

I've not cme across a single shampoo that will regrow hair, sure they claim it will but there are no documented case studies. Msm only promotes quicker growth of existing hair. I'll will however research into the other products you mention.
I don't think there is a single drug on the market today that is 100% safe, there will always be a small percentage who have side effects. Take Penicilin for example, saves millions of lives but there's probably 5% of the population who are allergic to it and have a high chance of death if taken. It's a chance you have to weigh up like you have done, you're not prepared to risk it whilst others are.

Quick question guys ~ I'm noticing increased amounts of dandruff with the use of foam, what's the best shampoo to aid with this ?

I get that with Rogaine too. Using Nizoral shampoo has reduced it in my cas, but I cant know for sure.

I'll give it a shot. The dandruff flakes seem to be getting larger so I need to find a suitable shampoo to eradicate it.

My dandruff was worse when I used liquid as opposed to foam. When I use Nizoral, I keep it on for 5mins b4 washing out. Its suppossed to be mildly beneficial in slowing hairloss.

im gonna start using the liquid soon, is it easier for longer hair? how long have you been using minoxidil?

The foam dries real quick. The liquid takes around 30 minutes to dry but leaves your hair with a greasy appearance.

If you do use the liquid I think it's best to apply it an hour before you go to bed and then wash your hair in the morning.
