Yeah same thing happened to a mate of mine it started to grow one side first but after a months or two he had a full mop of the stuff so best of luck!

Hi vic, just wondering what was COSMEDICAs advise with regard to clipping?

They said not to use clippers for 6 months, i shaved it off after 2.5 weeks loads of people here said that it won't affect anything so i just used them Mickeys results look good and he used clippers so i thought it won't make any difference it will feel odd though, the skin is extremely tender after the surgery so just don't apply too much pressure

It would be nice to know the reasoning behind it!

The reason they said i shouldn't use clippers? They didn't explain, i guess some clippers might pull hair out, or might not be sterile so as a precaution they recommend not to use them. The reason i shaved it off was the fact that i work with people on day to day basis, couldn't wear a hat for few months, and after 2.5 weeks shedding started so i just shaved everything

Bigmac thanks for welcoming me, i think the doctor only looked at my head and then the nurse drawn the rest while conversing with him. Hairs are starting to grow on both sides now, so i am quite positive about everything. Obviously it's too early too tell, i will post some pics in 4 weeks time when i will be approaching 3 month mark

Hey dude, not much to update, will post some pics in a couple of weeks time, hair is staring to grow on both sides. Don't see anything in the crown area. Still shaving my head once a week, but the hair on both sides of frontal area started to come through. Thanks for the message

Yiddo, still red ish, probably from the fact that we are second in the league though😂 Red ish but i started appying aloe vera and it helped a lot with redness, still fairly thin, probably due to shock loss

Im coming up 11 weeks on friday, so we are the very same time wise. My recipient area is fine, no redness, about 80 per cent of the hairs shed.

But my donor is a worry, one side looks fine but the other side is a little red and you can see the extraction parttern, which is a little annoying. Its either shock loss as you say, or it was over harvested on that side. I did recieve a lot of injections on that side and it took the longest to heal, so im hopin its just a little shock loss, like yours.

I had the good looking lady doctor with dark hair, who did you have ?

Dark hair, fairly young, could not speak a word of english😂 My donor area is also quite messed up at the moment, as you said extraction pattern is clearly visible, i am a bit ahead of you, had mine done on 26 of november my sheeding started at about two weeks though. Football wise, Cooooyyys!!

Well over the last couple of weeks more and more hairs started to break through, i think it's exciting times from now on, still having if every week but in few weeks time i will try to grow it and see how it goes
