Cosmedica did my procedure, two techs done the extractions and graft placement and a young slim female doctor did the slits. Will post some pics just now. Delighted with the result so far considering i'm just over the 6 month mark. I have seen some great results from Cosmedica and also some very poor results. Just your luck I suppose. You get what you pay for at the end of the day, Cosmedica charge a fraction of what other clinics do. I consider myself a gambler so didn't mind taking the risk. Thankfully it has paid off so far.

I am on the big three (finasteride, rogaine and nizoral) along with a biotin pill. In my opinion it is pointless even getting a hair transplant if your are not willing to take finasteride and rogaine. MPB is a progressive thing, you have to do all you can to keep a hold of what existing hair your currently have.

it's a bit vague was a bit out of it after the Valium they gave me but they were both quite young and both very pretty, one with really dark hair and the other one was almost blonde.

No I had the grafts extracted, slits done and then the transplanting of grafts.

I wasn't completely numb during the slitting. The temple area was an eye watering experience, I must say!

When does the shedding usually start? I am at 2 weeks and the hair is growing, none have shed yet.

You should have said and they would have given you a couple more injections I'm sure. I didn't feel a thing during the op, have had more pain at the dentist. The injections were the only part that was uncomfortable.

My hairs began to shed around the 4 week mark, and by 8 weeks virtually all had fell out.

Ok, gentlemen, so i am almost five months post op. I oped to shave most of my hair off because it was growing at different speed at different places. On monday i am starting my new job and it's an office corporate environment so i have to look presentable. I know for sure now that my donor area was over harvested, even though it is still healing (turns out i have a very sensitise skin) i am adamant -from looking at other pics- that the techs at cosmedica messed it up, however if i shave the back it or maybe when i grow it out it will be less visible. Here are some pics, of shave-ish head. Sorry for a bad pic of donor area, difficult to take a picture of the back of your own head.Ps. Bigmac, i would appreciate your comments

Hi vik it looks like good progress no? I suppose your anxious about starting your new job but it doesn't look so bad! Looks like good progress for 5 months! With regard to the marks on the donor did you have a scar there before? How long does shock loss last? Keep the head up man! I'm two months post op today back in work no one said a word to me about my head! I work in a professional environment where I have to engage with people daily! All the best!

Hey dude, yes saddly i have more than one scar on my head😂😱 the shock loss might not have been a loss at all but just over harvested area. I am still healing but it looks like it will be permanent, to be fair, if the top and crown comes good then i don't mind it at all. I have got my hairline back, it is a massive bonus for me, i never minded short hair, but lack of hairline was a bit of bummer. Will keep you posted, how is it going for you?

Hey man I see it growing from 7 weeks I'm 2 months post op now but still a lot of redness which bothers me, I put some fake tan on to reduce the look of the redness! I'm not sure whether I have made a big mistake getting this done the last two months have been dragging in! I just want to look normal again and feel free to walk in public without a hat! 😓

Just give it time, my redness is still slightly visible at least it is to me. I understand how you feel, the process is a long one and you will notice a lot more than others, trust me on that. Hopefully you are a fast grower and in few months you will be right on track, just try to occupy yourself with something else, best of luck buddy, keep us posted

Well, sadly there isn't much to report at the moment, i think the transplated hair is getting a bit thicker, i did get minoxidil yesterday though, going to see now whether the meds help, will keep you posted when i see more results
