Hi everyone, I'm new to the site so apologises if the question has already been raised/answered ( I did a quick search but couldn't find any)
I have been doing a lot of research in hair transplants and have had several consultations.
I get the impression that the Farjo clinic is the favoured clinic in the UK. In my consultation there I was advised that a density of 40 - 45 grafts per cm2 was realistic. This information is also echoed on their website.
At a consultation with the Vinci clinic I was advised that a density of 30 cm2 was achievable.
Consultation with clinics in Belgium suggested that a density of 60 cm2 would be the highest my hair needed and was achievable.
Please can someone explain why the UK clinics do not offer densities as high as other countries such as Belgium. Surely we use the same equipment and the same size micropunches ??
I know travel shouldn't be an obstacle but I dont want my head cut open at all never mind abroad
But seriously I dont understand the discrepancy between the UK and Belgium/USA. Please could you offer any insight as it's baffling me.
