Hi all; I have just completed my fourth hair transplant and I am very pleased with the results, with 3,300 new hairs and 1,800 grafts; it looks like the surgeon has achieved maximum density which is what I really wanted.

It is still very early days, with a few days rest now before I can begin to wash my new hairs. I will keep you updated and show you how the result comes along every couple of weeks.

Let me know what you think? I am very excited by it.

Hi Joe,
That's a nice number of grafts you got. Have you some pre op pictures to post. This should produce a nice result.
Cheers Bm.

Hi Bigmac, see attached photo of me just before my procedure and my shave, I focused on the A and B zones only, my crown area is thinning also, but all I wanted was to have everything perfect at the front which the surgeon recommended also and I can use concealor on the back like before.

The surgeon was so sincere, polite and nice and I don't think he knows how good he is; for me it was a great procedure and all that I wanted, he really performed a work or art.

I will post pictures every so often to monitor the results; really loving this new look.

Thanks, Joe

Bigmac, yes it was a nice number of grafts, the surgeon was unsure if we could get this amount following three previous hair transplants as the hairs in the donor area were less and some had changed angle; if was not a straight forward extraction; however I asked for the maximum possible extraction, which he got for me.

Hi Bigmac, this is how my donor area is looking today; I am applying Aloe Vera spray also for a few days. Joe

Hi Joe,

The concealer worked well hiding the extent of your loss on your previous pictures. This amount of grafts should add a decent density.

All the best.

Thanks BM; yes the concealor changed my life; but I was getting to a stage where I did not what to be applying it daily.
I will keep you posted on the results.
Thanks,
Joseph

#4 hair transplant. You are a HT veteran now who will know what to expect and use to the waiting game. All the best for good growth and density with this latest surgery.

Congrats on Ht4, out of curiosity how many grafts have you had in total, and do you have any more in the donor bank for the future dude?

Hi Crudance2006 and bullitnut; I am overly pleased with my latest transplant, it really was a work or art performed; I will post pictures every few weeks to monitor everything with you.
Bullitnut I have had over 5000 grafts so far over a 10 year period; regarding my donor area I have carefully planned out my hair loss cycle for the future in line with my hair type, donor area, age and other factors and I have enough donor bank for 3 more procedures; that was a big factor for me.
Well used to the expectations and waiting game and Much thanks for the kind words and the congrats.

Well done on having your fourth transplant, do you have any pictures anywhere to show what your hair loss was like prior to HT 1?

Hi baldasabadger, I don't think I have photos of this; it was about 10 years ago and it was the hairline I had transplanted. My hair loss prior to HT1 would have only been receding on the hairline, not on any other areas.
Now it is almost a week since the latest hair transplant; I will post regular pictures to monitor everything.
From experience, hair transplants and medication really need to be carefully planned; anyone considering a hair transplant, needs to plan ahead; this is very important.
