Hattingen Hair. 6248 FUT (2 Ops) Before & Grown Out

[Hattingen Hair]

Our patient, a Norwood 5-6 Hair Loss Sufferer. His aim was to achieve coverage from hairline to crown, even if this meant a lower crown density due to his hair characteristics.

His hair and skin characteristics: Very fine hair, tight skin laxity, medium high hair to skin contrast, lower hair to follicular unit count.

6248 Grafts were used with a higher placed density in the hairline and frontal third and reducing density over the mid and crown areas to achieve our patient ´s wishes of total coverage. The first procedure was 3775 FUT and the second 2473 FUT.

This is awesome..... Considering the extent of this guys loss I think this result is fantastic. The comb through highlights just how good it is. Even the crown at the lower density looks so much better than the large bald spot.....he has to be a happy man.

Thanks for the comments; it was important for him, taking into consideration his limitations that he could at least achieve full coverage. The crown not being as full density was not the concern, as Bullit said, not a bare crown.

Here is the hair to graft count also.

1st Op

1 hair 652, 2 hair 1904, 3 hair 1010, 4 hair 209. Total 8326 hairs, an average of 2.20 hairs per FU.

2nd Op

1:554, 2:1276, 3:543, 4:100. Total 5135 hairs, an average of 2,07/FU

Grand total of 13,461 hairs, and 2.15 hairs per FU.
