Hey everyone,

its been around 3 weeks since my HT

As expected I've noticed a lot of my transplanted hairs have now started to shed,still some redness but I'm hoping that fades over the next month or two.

My hair wasn't that bad pre op, so i can hide any evidence of my HT easily

Donor area is looking pretty good

This is the worst bit, waiting for growth, the end result will be totally worth it though.

Is the redness noticeable to others, Peapoddy? By looking at your PICS it barely looks noticeable and is easily disguised by your existing hair.

Have you noticed any shockloss to your donor or areas surrounding your recipient area?

Only under the harshest light is it noticeable.Today i had my first gym session back and people just commented on my shorter hair cut ,nobody noticed anything strange.I actually got complements ,saying this shorter hair suits me best.

Yes I've had some shock loss in the donor area,its just a little patchy but nothing to be concerned about.My recipient area looks solid,i can't notice any shock loss

Now the waiting game begins!I might start applying minox 2% to the transplanted area soon see if that helps kick start things

Happy New Year 2013 thanks for the updates , looks all good to me and I would doubt if anyone will notice you having any work done , Shock loss looks very similiar to what i had but that will all come back to normal within a couple months , its just the waiting game now but its all worth it , been back in the Gym thats a positive for you have agreat day

Whats your diet like mate? because I really struggle with knowing what to eat.

The waiting game is definately the hardest part dude try to be patient, I'm sure you will be fine as having the gym to go to will take your mind off the wait.

My diet is nothing special, i eat around 4 meals per day, i keep my protein high,so i'm eating lots of chicken ,steak and fish.

I rarely eat junk food , instead i snack on fruit and nuts.

Its common sense really! You can have some junk food in moderation, just don't eat the whole cake lol Hope that helps

I know exactly what you mean about cutting your own hair. I get my Sister to shave the back and sides to a No.1 (3-6mm) and trim the rest myself.

I have almost exactly the same hairline as you at the front, but my density is not as good as yours. Every time i go to the Barbers they make a real hash of things.

I bet its going to bring a tear to your eye when you return to the Barbers. It sure will for me, im planning on surgery in Autumn 2013 and i pray for the day when girls can run their hands through my hair again and not end up with a handful of wax and hairspray.

Exactly like me!My sister keeps the sides short (grade 2-3) and longer on top.i brush my hair forward to hide recession.Its a real pain to try and style it and look norwood 1 ish hairspray saved my life lol

Hey mate,things going great,hair has grown back to normal length and i actually trimmed it myself last week.

Donor looks 99% back to normal and i didn't experience any shock loss in the recipient area

Maybe i can feel more hair when i run my finger over the transplanted areas ,almost like stubbly velcro ....maybe i'm just imagining things haha

I will get some pics posted up when I'm at the 2 month mark.

I'm good thanks.... Got to admit though that even after been on the forums for a while I still get excited by the transformations and I'm looking forward to seeing your progress dude.

Hey everyone ,my update is a little early as i'm not even at the 2 month post op mark yet!(that will be on the 14th feb)

I'm pleased with how things are looking, one thing i have noticed is lots of red pimples appearing on the recipient area with new hairs breaking through. Looks all a bit messy lol i am now well and truly going through the ugly phase !!

Here are some pics from a fresh short hair cut, I will post a shot of my donor another day.

Very early days indeed but things will start happening soon enough dude and the ugly stage is short lived mate lol.
