I've lost track of what i've spent considering 4 of these procedures were a total botch job.

I didn't really need anything doing, I was a naive 22 year old with a NW1.5 hairline, and it hasn't changed much since then.

What a great Forum.

Thank you ALL so much for your feed back.

Stingray. When you had your first op done. Was there any scarring and how long before your hair grew back?

Also. Did you have to have the area shaved that you wanted treating. If so, how did you cope?

And what are peoples views on PROPECIA. Does it actually work.

Sparky.

Is there any re-growth? In your opinion, is this possible with this medication?

Have you had any side effects?

And obviously, there is a cost involved. Where would you recommend I get if from?

Thank you for all your help so far.

Don't know about re growth because I started on propecia after my first HT, and I only had hairloss in the hairline, so the transplanted hair may of masked any regrowth.

The cost isn't bad at all, if you are in the UK I would suggest you get it from:-
Dr John Ashcroft - Tel: 07971472823

Really couldn't say where I would be without Proscar, could be in the same place, could be bald. If it helps you to determine it, my Dad is bald, my Mums Dad was bald, and my Dads Dad was bald although he had slightly more hair than my Dad.

My Dads brother still has a bit on top but he will lose all of that, and his youngest son is bald and his eldest son is probably a NW3.
