if i had a HT and started finasteride at the same time how can i tell my new growth in the frontal area isn't due to the drug only. my dr. told me to get on it right away after the surgery and i always wondered if it was to make his work look better. any thoughts..

Fin generally tends to work better in the crown for some reason for most people it is to maintain the hair you have, obviously some people do get regrowth from fin. I expect you doctor would recommend you start it straight away whether you are having a ht or not.
