Hi Alex it’s going good. I’ll be 7 months this Saturday so will be taking some pictures to keep everyone updates.

Yeah @Kevboy I can’t stop looking in the mirror at it. The other week I got a little worried as my native hair is growing quite fast which is making the new hair sections look thinner but once cut today you can clearly see the new hair is growing in nicely

Do you think any native hair was shocked out causing its growth cycles to be mixed up a bit? That and hair shedding will make the hair grow differently until enough has grown that you don`t really notice. Your hair looks much fuller than the picture with your hair clipped up before you had the surgery. My shedding phases made me panic some months thinking I was losing more hair but it came back better and stronger.

Today’s marks 7 months (28 weeks) since my HT. Here are some photos straight out of the shower with wet hair (it actually looks thicker wet) and then some photos after styling.
As you can see the transplanted hair is still very thin and wirey, but hoping as it starts to mature it will become thicker. I also still keep seeing and feeling new hairs coming through, which is always a positive.

Looks like it's definitely progressing well especially when looking back over all the journey pics. Not long left now until it's fully grown!

Washed and conditioned my hair today and thought I would take some more pictures for sharing here. This definitely shows how wirey the new hair is compared to the hair that was there before. Bring on the thickening up and hopefully the thinner patch in the middle of my frontal third will close up, fingers crossed

what is strange is that my hair looks better to the naked eye when I look in the mirror for example than it does with close up pictures. Last pic here is me in the mirror

It`s getting there. You have a good illusion of a full head of hair. Now you need the rest of the new hairs you feel to grow and the maturing of what's grown already. Your hair may need to go for one or more growth cycles before it resumes its normal characteristics.
Lighting conditions and your camera quite often don`t show all the new hairs.
Still 5 months to go.

Just found a picture on my phone of my hairline before my HT and thought I would share it next to a picture now at 7 months. I’ve lined my ears up so both photos are nearly identical aspex wise and you can see how the new hair line looks compared to my receding one.

That's looking really good- can see it's much fuller now! You must be pleased!

Your hairline is fuller, the difference is quite clear. It looks like a normal hairline with no receding.

So here are my 8 MONTH post HT photos.

I’ve taken photos which show it wet, dry and styled. My thinner patches which I have mentioned before in my posts are starting to fill in now. In the past 4 weeks I’ve really started to feel the new hairs coming through in the thinner patches which are my crown and middle of the frontal third it’s a great feeling and hopefully once they start growing longer and thickening up my hair will be even thicker in these areas.

Looking great mate. You can definitely see the difference from your pre HT photos. The hair line is a lot more full and lower than before. Are you using minoxidil to help with any growth? I’m thinking of giving it a try to see if it makes any difference.

Thanks Kelvino. Yeah it’s a massive improvement. I’ve been trying to find some pre op pictures but I used to hate having my picture taken and I just don’t really have any. I’m not using minoxidil, didn’t want all that messing around everyday to be honest. All I taking is fin, biotin and saw palmetto every morning. I’m hoping at the 12 month mark it’s even thicker

That's looking really good! Can see how it's come on in the last few months and filling in the areas you were concerned about in earlier posts. I guess it's true that you really have to just give it time and let it sort itself out.

I've got mine next week - getting nervous that it's finally going to happen and hoping for a good result like yours!

Yep it’s defo a let time take it’s course and the result will come.

I remember being nervous on the days leading up to the procedure. It really is just a walk in the park though. You will be in good hands

Great update! Really like how the the hair line looks like a proper hairline now, it also looks super natural too.

Were you recommended to take both Fin and Saw Palmetto together?
