Your hair looks great, just take pictures every 3 to 6 months to compare if you're concerned and enjoy your life without thinking about hairloss.

Hey there. It €™s totally normal to notice some measure of temporal and hair line recession as you continue to mature into your 20s. I am confident that you have a very strong hairline at the moment. From looking at your photos, you are not showing any significant recession. Don €™t negate the possibility that you may be noticing some slight changes (decreased density and hair quality) when you look at your frontal hairline and temporal regions in the mirror. You may well be seeing a very small percentage of thinning hairs in these particular areas that only a hair restoration specialist would be able to detect.

I encourage you to attend a free in-person consultation so that you could find out what percentage of miniaturization that you might have in these areas of concern. Having a consultation shouldn't do you any harm. Just remember not to let anyone talk you into having surgery of any kind. Tell them that you would like to schedule a simple examination to monitor these areas. A competent clinic should be able to analyze your scalp with magnification or a trained eye.

I sense your frustration is constantly distressing to you. I hope that you find some kind of resolution to lighten the brunt of your burdening concern. The ability to move on with your life is worth taking the proper channels to satisfy yourself. Nothing else is more important than peace of mind. Have a wonderful week!

Thanks, I'll definitely consider it because this snap I took of my left temple really doesn't look good }:BY:>?:

Couple of other snaps, one of my right temple too (excuse the stupid hat, it helped hold the hair back for the pictures):

Just really hoping it's just the fact my roots are growing out and looking much lighter which is causing that, or the awkward way it parted in the first picture, but just... ugh. I was OK until this morning. Sorry about so many pictures I'm just REALLY worried right now.

You need to post some better quality pictures under a very bright light. Also some with wet hair slicked back and exposing the temples.

Looks perfectly ok to me at the moment. It would be prudent to keep a close eye on the hairs in the temporal corners, any sign that they are becoming thinner than the surrounding areas could be a sign of the early stages of mpb. This is called minitaurisation. However a lot of adults lose hair in the temple areas without having mpb.

OK thanks. I think I will keep an eye on it, definitely, and if it looks any different in future (I'm debating whether or not to re-dye or just remove the dye in the coming weeks which will provide a much better perspective) then I'll consult my GP about it.

Hey there. The left temple may be showing the normal recession associated with getting older, my friend. I am guessing that you don't typically let your hair grow out much further than its current length. It's easier for you to notice slight differences between the left and right sides of the hairline when the hair is longer and you look in the mirror from one side to the other. Again, I don't see anything to be alarming or extraordinary. You are at the age where the hairline WILL recede, but I commend you on how you continue to monitor it. This is a great place to voice your concerns no matter how major or minor you consider them to be. I hope this helps in some way.

Arranging my gallery (http://www.hairlossexperiences.com/gallery_view.php) into folders by date (figured using this forum's gallery is easier than using puu.sh all the time as I have to clear that every few months anyway) and adding some more I took today. I get the feeling that some of it is down to my lighter natural hair coming through underneath but yeah just to be sure, I'm gonna keep updating here every few weeks or something, mainly just the gallery as I don't think it'll be fair to bump this thread every few weeks but yeah it'll be partly just so I have somewhere to both keep track and get the perspective of people who know what they're talking about.

Couple more added due to very unappealing looking temple this morning. Could just be hair parting oddly, could be something else. Just wanna be sure. Somehow looks as if an entire section has vanished in a couple of days which is why I think it's just a parting as I don't recall pulling out or noticing and loose hair anywhere of that scale.

EDIT also added some of the other temple as that one looks odd today too.

Left temple seems OK to me now, it's the right one that's starting to look funny. Gallery updated.

I'm not really sure what's going on in the new pics cos in the space of two weeks it looks like the parts that previously looked like they were going are OK and the bits which previously looked fine are now going. Maybe it's just a consequence of dying my hair and/or it's parted funny in recent days. Hoping for an opinion but if not just gotta wait and see I guess.

I re-dyed it a few weeks ago, shortly before taking the last set of pictures, although it was a temporary dye without peroxide in it. Since then I haven't thought about it as much as I've put it down to the way the hair may have parted. But I guess all I can do is keep updating here whenever I get worried again and trust your judgement.

New updates posted http://www.hairlossexperiences.com/gallery_view.php Looks like the lower parts of the left temple are starting to even out, this is normal right? The right temple looks better than it did last time.

OK one more update. Seems to have improved. Couple more angles too including one fairly similar to OP. Hair's shorter so difficult to get it exactly the same but at the very least even if the hairloss isn't there, god damn I've lost a lot of weight in the time I've been posting here.

Your hair looks good to me with no signs of loss at all, and you look much healthier in general than your first pictures as well;).
