Mr Tam, Dr Saeed or Hair Dr ?

I have finally taken the decision to have a hair transplant to correct my rapidly disappearing hairline. Predominately i have lost it on the temples and mid scalp now and been recommended 2000-2500 grafts, i have been in contact with Mr Tam, Dr Saeed (Fortes Clinic) and Dr Arshad (Hair Dr). All three were extremely professional and helpful during consultations, i was wondering has anyone on here had their HTs by these doctors or have any thoughts, recommendations on picking one?

Thanks!

This forum was a great help for me when researching and choosing what Dr to perform my HT. Research is key to a good HT. All the best with your journey on finding the right Dr for you

I had mine done by Dr Tam on Tuesday. He is a fantastic doctor and his technicians are very experienced. I've documented in the hair transplant patients section of this forum. Take a look at the softness look of his hairlines he is very good.

@John2704 I am looking into consultation with Dr. Tam soon. Did he agree with the breakdown of hair grafts for you before he started the procedure? I've spoken to one surgeon and told he'd aim for 400 singles in my hairline even though I basically have no hairline now then seeing Dr Tam put over 600 in yours makes me think more into it. Would you say it's worth having a consultation or just book straight in for surgery?

Hi there, Yes, Dr Tam is a hairline restoration specialist so I'm not surprised he does more singles than most. I had 4 consultations and Dr Tam was the best out of all of them. He did not agree the number specifically but I did not ask as I thought his results spoke for themselves. He won't do surgery unless you have an in person consultation as he has to look at your hair and scalp and design a hairline with you. You can use the contact form on his site he will come back to you. You can do a free pre-assessment just go on his site that's what I did.

For anyone that might be interested (probably not!) after extensive research and consultations, I ended up booking in with Dr. Ferreira for March. His results look great, patients I spoke to were delighted and were within my budget. Luckily I was able to get grab the last appt in March then he was booking into June! I will post my journey on a separate feed after I've had the surgery.

All the best with your surgery in March. How many grafts did he recommend?
I`ll look forward to reading and following your journey.

Dr. Bruno was one of my choices but I decided on Dr. Lorenzo mainly because of his experience and reputation. It was a close call.
You`re taking the plunge 2 months prior to mine which will allow me to follow your journey and know what to expect.

My hair transplant was postponed due to Covid travel restrictions and it's been moved to his next available dates which fall in October... Hopefully, that is a good sign if he is fully booked 8 months in advance?

It’s a shame it had to be put back but better to safe and well until we know what’s happening with Covid.
