Timing is everything lol. I have never read a positive customer posted review on a forum from DHI patient unless it is from the clinic posting low quality poor angled fotos and then getting called out as happened on another forum. The flak was so much they went running back to Greece !.I dont see how anyone doing research can choose this clinic!!! lol.The spamming nature of first post leaves alot to be desired and leaves me suspicious the but would welcome more pics especially the clinic pre and post.
I cannot speak for anyone else and I don't live in Greece. I'm from the UK. My photos are taken by me and I'm trying, where possible to send as high quality pics as possible. I'm being asked by others for information which I will gladly give. It will be as factual as I can make it. I've no medical experience €¦ just real human experience, which is what I tried to portray in my original post.

I cannot give you clinic pics as I don't have any. All images you will see are mine, taken where possible with a good quality camera. some before my treatment where just taken on my phone.

I answered the doctor question.

Approx 2500 grafts i total were distributed over the crown, top of my head and frontal area.

I uploaded an overhead shot.

thanks

I feel the occasional twinge from it, and sometimes it's a bit tight. Used to have pics on here but not at this time, have my own reasons for that. The scar isn't a very nice one, it stretched out to 10mm at it's worst, I had fue into it to diminish it, but it's still there haunting me.
I will post pics again one day but not at the moment, suffice to say I wish that fue had been common practice in 1998.

Dhiclient2011, thanks for continuing to respond, if you are genuine that takes some doing.

You see, the established posters here are the real deal, many know more than the docs, and unfortunately DHi doesn't have the best of reps here in the UK.

Until proven otherwise, that reputation will persist

Please keep posting

Where are you based?

I remember the name Dr. T. Vekris, was he a founder of DHi or very senior? And why were two docs doing the FUE?

Thankyou in advance.

You say the following in your first post.

Is the company reputable?
- In the UK we are told never to travel abroad for treatments - it's always on TV. You hear the horror stories.
- Do they use real doctors?
- Are they qualified?
- What accreditations or certificates does the company hold

I considered all of the above points, and all I felt DHI ticked all of the boxes.

.................................................

So these were your concerns, you then research them and go to DHI. How come you never asked about these concerns on any forum before you chose them, when as you say a simple google search leads you to the forums.

Just curious as you seem very knowledgeable but only post on a forum after you`ve had your first HT.

Also could you let me know why you chose to go to Greece when they have a location in Dublin. Did your research lead you to to the conclusion that the doctors in Greece are more experienced than their Irish counterparts.

I LIKE TO THINK THAT I'm pretty tech savy and enjoy learning software etc. APPLE MAC mainly, PC ARE RUBBISH But one thing I always shy'd away from were forums. For a few reasons. I only joined Facebook at the beginning of the year. I'm still stuck sometimes on how it works. I was never a big fan until i started to find my way around little and other social sites. I've never went near a hair forum until I got home and never thought twice about the obvious username. I MIGHT TURN IT INTO HE-MAN OR SUPERMAN OR HANK FROM DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS. OR ANY COOL NICKNAMES? ALL WELCOME

during the research and before I decided on DHI - IT'S TRUE I MET A wide RANGE OF hair SPECIALISTS FACE TO FACE OVER THE PHONE - ALL SORTS - I even met one guy who tried to get me to try green bycicle helmet with LEDS on - Ridiculas but also very funny.
IN FACT THE FIRST CONSULTANT FROM ANOTHER COMPANY (not DHI) WAS GINGER AND HAD HAIR LIKE THE NUTTY PROFESSOR. he didn't know his own business address. UPON CLOSER INSPECTION HE HAD SIX STRIP SCARS. AND WAS GOING FOR ANOTHER 2 OPS.

I THOUGHT HE WAS NUTS AND GOT OTF OF HIS CLINIC
six moths later, seen him with 3 hot birds in the town centre and they were all over him. HE WAS HAPPY IN THE END.

I SPOKEN TO OTHER EXPERTS BY PHONE AND THROUGH EMAIL. I met a few people who have had it done - it's all so very secretive. all companies are this way. I Never got this with DHI - THEY WERE OPEN WITH ME ABOUT EVERYTHING I ASKED.

INFORMATION FROM COMPANY WEBSITES - BUT IF ANYBODY MENTIONED THE WORD 'STRIP' - I RAN a mile. Once they get you they use the left of tissue to from a burt reynolds mustach. joke

I HAD BEEN FOLLOWING A FEW COMPANIES ON THEIR WEBSITES And after much debate I decided to give the DHI company a try.

I did the kids test - if they cried when I came home - it hasn't worked - that's how scientific I am..

All joking aside I tried to check everything out, everything contacting the different companies quality care, ISO and I was suitably satisfied.

Are you not going to answer my question?
I asked for a GIGA (2days) with a master surgeon (names given earlier) and in due course in the lead up to my treatment I was consulted with both doctors present.

Now they are doing dhi and very well based on what I experienced. they were great in all respects that I could judge on. Manor, Language, explanation of my condition, explanation of options and my hair design.

finally their efficiency in carrying out the proceedure was 1st class as patient I couldn't feel any pain and they kept me very relaxed.

Don't know if others were the same as mine but there was very little blood. Mine healed in no time at all.

thinking f getting back to the gym and it's only been 1 week from it.
