Don't worry too much about very little happening yet, its still early. From reading other peoples stories, I was quite an early developer. I got growth at 3 months but if you look back at my photos from 4 months that s when things really started to take off. Its not like you wake up one day and its suddenly appeared, it happens slowly. But honestly don t worry. I know it easy for me to say that now because I ve been through it, but it will happen for you, stay positive.
I m going for a haircut on Saturday, so i ll wait until then to show my 10 month photos but, yes everything seems on track for me. Thanks for asking.
Here are my up to date 10 months photos. I ve just had my hair cut again. I used to hate having it cut and seeing myself in the mirror but I really rather enjoy it now.... There s not much change happening now and I m sure I m at the end of my thickening up process, but here they are for anybody that s interested. Thanks for looking, have a great Christmas.
The family think it’s great, especially the wife. She’s been amazing throughout to be honest. Very supporting through the whole process. The amazing thing is, hardly any of my friends have said anything and they are the type that would.
When I first had it done, I never mentioned anything about the HT and they just thought I’d had it shaved really short. I left it a couple of weeks before seeing anybody. It wasn’t that I didn’t want to tell anybody, I wasn’t really bothered whether they knew or not, but I just waited for them to say something. Since then I’ve grown it out and they’ve not noticed. I’ve told a few and they can’t believe they hadn't noticed. It’s only when I show then a before and after photo that they are amazed. Very strange!!!
Your hair looks great. I laughed at the comment you made about your friends not noticing. My guess is they did but didn't want to say anything for fear of offending you. If they really didn't notice then they should have gone to spec savers because the difference is huge
It’s been roughly 18 months since I had my surgery and I just thought I’d update my photos to show what it looks like fully matured. This is just the 1st stage of 2. I plan to go back in the next year to get the rest finished off. I’m still more than happy with the results.
Thanks for your comments Bullitnut, appreciate your feedback. The next stage is to fill in the crown and thicken the front/mid that I had done the first time. The crown wasn’t touched the first time around and is still thin. I am really pleased with the results so far though. I feel a different person. Money well spent.
