Yea, how's it coming??? Feeling like it's all healed up and it's just a matter of waiting for the grass to grow?

From your first set of pics, I thought you were going to be doing weekly updates.....ha!

Hope you're doing well.

I know a lot of people want to see my update and I was waiting to hit the 3 month milestone. Well, I have, and (after some trouble getting a hold of my photographer) here is that update.

I would say I'm right on track and I feel that it's getting better and better very quickly. I really think it looks better to the eye than it does in the photos.

I have been wearing a hat most of the time because, since the procedure, I've been in a state of mind that I no longer want to display that I have hair loss, and the front is still thin as you'd expect at month 3. However, I've never kept my procedure a secret from anyone and lots of people are getting a look. The feedback is all good, including from those of a younger age group. I'll explain that:

A girl I'd noticed around town for a while now gave me her number and we've seen a lot of each other over the past 12 days. I knew she was young and it turns out she just turned 20 (I'm 32). She told me my hair looks great and I should just ditch the hat. What more does a guy need to hear? (I'm still self-conscious of her seeing my crazy 'bed head', though!) She must've told her friends as one of them said "so you're hair transplant guy!" upon being introduced. I think I can live with this being my defining feature for the time being!

So here are the photos:

It's too early for any conclusions... but great update...
PS. please keep us updated for the "girl around town" story as well, I really enjoy this reference, and Mattj... don't pay any attention to comments like "The HT boy" plenty of guys did an HT or want to do an HT but less have the courage to expose themselves as you did....

Good to hear everything is going well and especially that everyone knows. That is probably the biggest battle for most having to hide all of this. It should almost be a prerequisite for a hair transplant that at least a dozen or so friends and family members are required to know. Of course this is probably not realistic for most but it would really help the patient in the long run. Thanks for the update.

Entertaining read. I've got wine that's older than 20 but that's another story.

All the best for the relationship and the transplant coming in. Looking forward to the updates.

Thanks close!

I wasn't bothered about that comment as it wasn't delivered in a negative way. The HT thing obviously stuck in her mind when she was told about me. I'd be surprised if it didn't!

Thanks topcat!

Being open helps me as I'm getting feedback as well as confirmation of the changes I'm seeing myself.

For example, I'm noticing quite rapid changes and yesterday someone told me that they've noticed my transplanted zone has become thicker over the two weeks since I met them.

A girl of 20 can be surprisingly mature. That's until she's among others of her age group, and then you start to feel old all of a sudden!
