My Hair Transplant journey from 2007 with Shapiro Medical Group.

Thought I would share my Hair Transplant journey with the forum. August 2007 I had a 2000 graft surgery with DR. Ron Shapiro. My hair characteristics were definitely not to my advantage dark fine thin shafted caliber hair and light scalp. I am really amazed what Dr. Shapiro could do with only 2,000 grafts, the end result was great.

I then had SMP done with SMG in March 2013.
I got married in the summer and wished to have the temp SMP done to add the ilusion of thickness for my "big day". I was in contact with Janna about a month or two before I had the procedure done, there were still some loose ends that SMG was trying to figure out like getting the SMP machine at the office on time for my procedure. I fully knew that SMG was just starting this practice at their own office and the only reason I was not scared or hesitant one bit was because of the stellar reputation and patient-doctor-clinic relationship that I have personally built with them. I trusted them to do this procedure just about a month or so before my wedding day, TALK ABOUT TRUST. Anyways it was to my pleasure that over the 2 day period I had the SMP done.

Your hair looks great and I have always been curious about SMP as i was thing about getting it done before my last HT , how long did your SMP last for what areas did you get done it certainly had an impact as seen in the pictures

Dazz,
It was super easy for them to go in between your hair. I will say the SMP lasted a good two years. The ink faded so naturally over time you couldn't tell, it was great. The immediate after pics make the SMP look a little thicker than it really is just cause they put the ink on the scalp and the excess goes in the hair and makes it look thicker. the SMP definitely works, but i will try to get more pics that show the resutls a few days/months after it was done

2000 grafts made a good impact on the area giving you a nice framing to your face. The SMP looked good to, made your hair appear a lot thicker.

Great result dude, and as everyone says the SMP has added the look of more density. I know it was a while ago but did anyone say anything at the wedding about your hair pal as its miles better than before.
