My hair transplant with Farjo Medical.

I have been following this forum for quite a while now but did not want to post until I had proven to myself that my hair was growing and that things were actually working. I know it sounds daft and yes I was confident but there is nothing like actually seeing things for yourself.

Let me start at the beginning, as long as I can remember I have always had quite fine hair .The other problem was that it has been falling out for the last 40 years. I just accepted my fate.

This time last year I started to notice that there were more reports in the papers about people having hair transplants. This seemed to stir something up because as a silver surfer with time on my hands I started looking on the internet. I looked around and learned about hair forums and for the next couple of months set about improving my knowledge about hair transplants. It soon became apparent that there were a lot of people out there happy to take my money but who could I trust. On a different forum I kept seeing people recommend that people go to see a guy who had a great deal of info. to share but I wanted to be seen by a doctor not a salesperson. Having worked in sales for 35 years I knew the BS and sales patter, no matter how it was dressed up.
I then found this site and have been quietly taking in everything that was said and soon realised that maybe I was not an old fool thinking that I could make myself happy once more when I look in the mirror.

My only aim was to stay in the UK because I don €™t really travel well and I did not want to be far away if there were any unforeseen things to deal with. From what I could find and heard Farjo was the only place to go.

I went to Harley Street and met with Dr Farjo and was happy with what he was saying. This came down to yes I could do something but my hair was going to be a challenge and I may need a couple of goes to achieve something really worthwhile. He was very straight, no rubbish and told me how it was. I also met with Mick their manager and at the same time they had a patient going for a check up who I was able to meet.
Moving forward at the end of October I had 2264 units added to my thinning bonce.I. The day went well, a tiny bit discomforting having the injections but it only lasted a minute. The rest was pain free but my scalp felt a bit numb for a few weeks and the scabs fell off after about 9 days. I have been adding some photo €™s to a folder and now feel confident to share my story. This basically comes down to do plenty of reading and don €™t let age be a barrier to making a change. I feel happy enough even now to know that I won €™t need more treatment because I think my aims have already been met and Farjo really went out of their way to make me feel special throughout the journey. If I remember right my hair will still improve over the next few months which is even more of a bonus.

Thank you all for reading.
