hi all
well we travelled to Antalya in turkey on Tuesday 9th sept from Manchester
we landed in Antalya about 10 pm and was met by 2 of dr hakan team very nice and friendly.and taken to the blue garden hotel right on the sea front with great sea views .the hotel made us sandwiches and nice bowl of fruit . we were told we be picked up at 8.30 am .breakfast and evening meal was inc . we were taken to Antalya hospital which was a 20 min ride away. looks a very new hospital I met dr hakan doganay what I really nice guy he is and the team where very nice . he looked at my Norton transpland and was not all impressed by it so he said he would start the hair line in front of the old one which I was very happy about . they took my blood for tests everything was fine. they took before pictures
I went to another room for my op tell you the worse part was the needle for my head to go numb lol the rest was a breeze . 2 nurses was taking the grafts out think I slept most of the time and some more nurses were sorting the grafts out. then dr hakan came in drew the hairline and we talked about it but he had it spot on.then he started the with the transplant then I fell a sleep to be woken telling me it was finished I think it took 5 hours may be . in total I had 2610 out of that 910 single 1260 double and 440 triple .does that sound ok . that night we stayed at the hospital .e even had bbc tv lol
the food was far better in the hospital then in any uk hospital ive had.the day after I was taken back down stairs and the banged was taken off . I was made up with it. I had no swelling at all .was a bit shocked as after my last ht I looked like I gone 10 rounds with top boxer lol. they took more photos and gave me a bag that had lotions and tablets in that I have to follow the list . creams are called seven cure package. now is the waiting game .but mr hakan and his team where brill .going to try put some photos up

Hi Jake,
I'm pleased everything went smoothly for you, you got a good amount of grafts that should make a good impact on your appearance once they grow in.
Thanks for posting your story, I'll look forward to following your progress.
All the best,
Bm.

Hello Jake, placement looks very neat, you have a big amount of single grafts. Were these selected specially to create the hairline or do you naturally have a lot of singles in your donor? A before picture will fully illustrate the work that has been done.
Heal and grow well my friend.

Two or three weeks is the usual time, personally I'd wait 3 just to be safe.
