Hi Friend

I had my 2nd HT 8 months post op after my 1st HT and this was advised to me by HDC and they said it would be alright as it was a new area the crown, I left the hairline and temples till over 2 years after my 1st HT and then went for my 3 HT the hairloss medications were keeping things stable otherwise I would have probably not done the 3 HT, I think you need to see were you are in terms of growth with your 1st HT and then take advice from your Clinic some say 12 months , wishing you all the very best how is everything coming along good I hope

Cheers

Daz

coming along nicely, I reckon you may even a bit ahead of schedule at 5 months with some nice early grown. you still have at least 8 more months of growing and thickening to go so should be a lot to look forward to.

Looks really good at this point in time. My initial thought was what a great hairline design. High enough without having to build the temple area should the lateral humps start to drop.

Then I scrolled back and read you comment about lowering the hairline. I would give that some more thought. Do the numbers work and if the temple area receded along with the lateral hump area dropping would you have enough hair to build that temple area too.

Having too low a hairline with receded temples almost looks like a bad toupee. If I can find an example I will post it. Like I wrote if the numbers add up long term then maybe it's not an issue.

Hi jake, it's starting to take shape nicely. I too would hold off on lowering the hairline, I think you may be happy with this once it's fully grown out.
Thanks for the update.

Jake,

Sorry I missed this post. Congrats on the recent surgery. All looks to be coming in as expected. I wouldn't look to lower the hairline you should save any grafts at this stage for the mid scalp or crown if you need to. Please keep us all posted.

I think its cos when I wore a system I had it a little lower . but I agree with everyone im not going to lower it . I will get the crown filled in at some stage

well im defo not going back to a hair system for the crown .been using foam minoxidil since nov ish and hair as grown on my crown even my hairdresser said so . so I just use a bit of toppik and im good to go . I should of had a ht 10 years ago best thing ive ever done .is minoxidil foam just as good as the liquid one
