Incredibly well documented journey, I can already see that some of you guys are a very hard act to follow.

Simply brilliant!

Here are my one week post FUE photos. As you can see, things are healing up really fast. With only one week growth from being shaved, you can barely see the strip scar from my prior FUT. I expect in another day or two you wont be able to see the strip scar at all, which is amazing considering just how short my hair is. You can still see the hair color that was used for the FUE, but it is slowly washing out......I will be all grey/white until I can put a little color back in after 6 weeks. Otherwise, you can hardly tell anything was done in the donor area. The recipient area is healing very nicely.

Hi Orlhair, Looks great...you are really a fast grower! I remembered you color you hair, but in my opinion, your hair looks good natural color. If my hair color was one solid color I'd leave it alone. Did you get Acell again?

Thanks guys. Thincity, I am debating whether to use color or just go with the grey/white look. I guess I have another five weeks to think about it. After my first HT I debated it but ended up going with the color again..

4 awesome repairs with SMG
I know this is cheaky but what product do you use to colour?(or does a stylist do it), my uncle is a similar colour but every time he colours he looks silly and you look great.

Best wishes BN

Amazing pics by the way!

Bullitnut, I tried several things, including having it done professionally. They never could get it to look natural. The best product out there for guys that are mostly grey/white is "Just For Men Touch of Grey". It puts very natural color in, but leaves some of the grey as well. That makes it look very natural and you don't see a line when the hair grows. I use it every 3-4 weeks, but some guys can go up to 6 weeks between uses. It only takes 5 minutes to work.

cracking result, I generally don't like strip, but this scar is almost invisible.

Nice that your hair grows so fast. Hopefully, the dye will wash out soon. You're looking good at one week post op.

As the others have said, overall one of the most impressive strip/fue combos I've seen. As that's the path I've chosen, I'm hoping I come close to this.

Photos two weeks post FUE. The strip scar is not visible. No evidence of any work done other than a few remnants of the hair color that was used during the procedure. New hairs are shedding, so now I will just wait a couple more months and start to look for new hairs coming in. Will post updates once there is some growth to see.

Thanks. I can't say enough about all of the folks at SMG who have given me this makeover :) . Dr. Ron did both surgeries for me.

A little more than 6 weeks post HT and I can see the first hairs just starting to come in.......two weeks sooner than I saw them in my first procedure. There are quite a few that have popped up. They are still really small, so I will wait a few days and try and get some photos.
