Looks like promising work - refined and yet conservative.

Have the BHR guys now persuaded you to get on the meds to protect your existing hair or are you still against it?

And yeah, those local anaesthetic injections are great fun, aren't they?

Thanks I did not get on with propecia it made me a bit weepy but I take saw palameto every day without any problems

Looking good Ric Tea, i`m pleased it all went well for you.

Thanks for sharing your story with the forum.

Heal and grow well.

Thanks Bigmac but if it wasn't for this forum I would have ended up at some dodgy chain clinic to get it done.
I`m pleased it helped you in your research, I`ll be active on your forum soon enough. ;)

Hi Rich Tea

I'm in the same boat as you! I'm considering FUE with Bisanga but reluctant to take propecia. I've been taking Regaine twice a day for almost 4 months and 450mg of Saw Palmetto a day - no side effects to date.

RichTea, can you explain what weepy means, I'm guessing depressed but I'm not sure.

Thanks

Yes you guessed right I have always been an upbeat cheerful person so it was a bit of a shock to feel that down for the first time in 40 years

Thanks that is what I thought. I know hair is important but I don €™t think ingesting these chemicals is anything to be fooling around with as it can have a tremendous effect on both your physical and mental health. But I also understand those that feel they must use them. I don €™t like having to use a concealer and thankfully I now need to use less. It sure can €™t be something healthy.

I think many of these guys out there don €™t realize the mental effects some of these drugs may have on them as it slowly changes their personality.

I am a bit confused I hope some of you with experience can help me ?

about 4 or 5 days ago most if not all of the implanted hairs had shed yet about 2 days ago I noticed what can only be described as a 5 o'clock shadow on my scalp and now there are tiny hairs poking threw , I know I am not supposed to be growing any hair until 3 months so how can I lose the hair and have hair growing all in the same week ?

Are they just hairs that did not grow or shed and can only be seen now the rest of the hair had gone ? when I rub my finger over it it feels like a freshly shaved head on a number 1 but softer.

BTW I know I am very pink but thats just how my skin is and how I heal.

I have posted as much of a clear close up as I can for you to see what I am talking about.

Hi mate,

It was my experience that some grafts break as well as just fall out. You may be left with parts of the dead hair shaft. When the new hair grew underneath I think it fell out then.

This is just my memory and opinion.

The redness you have is similar to mine at that stage. All looks and sounds very familiar - which is a good thing.

Cheers.

Richtea,
It could be a couple things. Some of the grafts can break off at the skin surface or just below then continue to grow (they may later shed or just keep growing). Also, you could actually be getting some early growth. I started noticing some new stubble around 6 weeks but Im sure its possible sooner. As for the color, I think yours is normal at this point.

Hi Richtea

As others said this is a normal event with regard to initial growth. For the redness apply aloe vera to the recipient to help in healing. MSM tablets also appear good to speed up healing process and kee paway from hairdryers or things that could exacerbate redness at this stage.

Nice close up pictures, you must have a good quality camera. The work looks very good and will change your frontal appearance dramatically when grown in i think.

Best Jon
