cheers for putting the pics up like you said, its been really good to follow your situation and have a look at your progress.
it makes me not so nervous about considering it, ive been looking at your pics again and think i might be slightly worse off then when you started mainly the actual temple points.
my biggest fear i think would be shock loss, did u experience any of this?
and also how long did u consider it for before taking the plunge and if you have a partner what did they make of the process?
sorry ive got so many questions.
i think if i managed to return my hair to this state my confidence would be bordering on arrogance as well.
you prob wouldnt be able to shut me up, keep me out of a mirror or off the dancefloor.

thanks again

I did not have shock loss exactly but I did go a bit thin just behind the transplanted area because I stopped using my regaine while I healed but after going back on it it for 2 months it grew back.

I do have a partner but because I have had other cosmetic procedures done this was just another and I got a rolling of the eyes thats all .

feel free to ask as many questions as you like :::C

i was asking about shock lost because the hair in the front at the top is a little patchy so dont know how implanting in and around it will effect it ?

im nearly 35 and have been losing since i was 18 and really want to sort it out but i think i would like to see some results in person first.
did u meet anyone apart from steven?or just take the plunge?

and if i did have it done (f.u.e.),
and say for example i had average recovery/ redness. what sort of time are we talking before it looks like you havent had any work done or at least its not obvious?
im thinking either BHR or Ferundi.
perhaps i will mail bigmac to see if i can pm you and i might send u some pics to see what im dealing with if thats cool with you? if not thats fine too i already appreciate you getting back to me!

...i went the BHR route. I'm now just 3 months in with no sign what so ever of having any HT. Personal experience - scabs gone after 7 days leaving a clean but pink scalp. Colour is now somewhere near normal, but in truth it had faded sufficiently enough after about 14 days.

Head was tender in both recipient and donor area for the first month.

Now waiting for some growth...

Hi its a tricky one about the timescale because I kept my hair short so the redness was always on show but I used clinique anti redness powder to cover it , until the hair started to grow back and that covered the redness I cant see any now. But I guess I had to wait 4 months before that. Most people don't really notice after the scabs drop off within a week anyway.

feel free to send pics although I am not sure what help that would be I think talking in person to a professional would be better . I took the Eurostar and had a day trip in Belgium to have my Consult with the surgeon in person as well as steve.

PS no temple action

Hello all well its been 1 year since my HT and I thought I would show some pics I am very pleased with my final result. Unless anyone requests any I will probably make these my final pictures as its been a year and don't think there will be any dramatic change from now on.

I have changed my phone so the pictures have come out different to all my others I hope this does not affect the results you see.

Thanks to Steve for all his support and thanks for all of your feedback online over the past year.

I will still be on line to see how others are getting on ;)
