Happy New Year all - not been on here for a while.
Just an update from me - as I am now
14 month post surgery.
New hair growth is really thick now and this is as good as it will get - however i have notice the island looks thinner int he middle - to compare - let me remind you. - The pic taken directly after procedure. 6,425 FUE
You can see some great changes between the 3rd & 6th month post procedure.
NOW 14 months - this selfie is pretty poor photo but you get the idea - look how thick the new hair is in the front but also notice the 'tin tin island' in the middle has got thinner? - Also how much thicker the new hair is in the
frontal zone around the
left and right temples.
That above photo was at it's very worse because I am by the window under daylight and bright weather but this is to show you the close-up of the new transplanted hair. - I do cut it occasionally btw
I booked my second procedure for
26th/27th April 2017.
Hopefully the density in the middle and crown will improve without damaging existing 'island' hair roots.
Also - I do notice that even my the new (transplanted) hair does fall out when I comb it and shampoo - but will this still grow back? - You can tell it's transplanted hair because it looks more wiry and much thicker. - I do comb/style it back and across like a quiff and it's not noticeable then. - (The thinner island patch in middle).
How does this look to you - and
is this normal that even transplanted hair can still fall out as part of the growth cycle like natural hair?
