Hello fellow members,
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce a mobile app that assists people suffering from hair loss (like myself), Track My Hair. This app was created by two siblings who are fighting thinning hair and wanted to make the experience a bit easier. They also wanted to know if the treatments were working and whether or not they experienced any side effects. Hopefully this app will be helpful for some of you.
Some key features in the app:-Journal to keep track of treatments and side effects-Photo journal to know your real results-Reminders -News
Track My Hair app can be found on the Apple App Store and more information can be found on our homepage and Facebook pages. Please search "Track My Hair".
PS: Thanks to BM for allowing this post.
Regards,Patrick

Thank you for the warm welcome Bigmac!
I attached a collage which contains some key screen shots. The screen shots from left to right are: Menu for navigation, calendar with icons for info at a glance, journal entry screen (to manage hair loss treatments, record side effects, take notes etc.), photo capture to record the different regions of the head.
If anyone has any questions or want more screen shots please feel free to ask. Thanks!
Cheers,Patrick

maybe use "skin irritation" instead of "erection problems" for marketing material!

nice work, you should pitch it to hair transplant docs that want patients to try medical therapies before they are considered for a transplant, and perhaps they will recommend their patients use it in order to provide them with a stronger record of information.

Thanks for the feedback. The app inputs were chosen randomly but I guess "erection problems" is a common concern among finasteride users. So it would be somewhat of an accurate representation of real life usage.
We created the app exactly for that, a "stronger record of information" and all in one location. With pictures as hard evidence there should be very little guess work when it comes to determining if your treatment is working.
Best,Patrick

Is this avaliable for Android phones yet?
Not at the moment but given enough interest that could change. This app will work on iOS devices like an iPod touch or iPad (although not completely visually optimized) as well.
Thanks!

Hey guys,
I've attached a few screen shots that should be clearer than the ones in the montage.
1) Medication list.2) New treatment details list (the start and end dates allow users to enter historical treatment data).3) Calendar screen. Icons indicate your treatments (grayed = treatment not taken) and side effects. Color coded days indicate your degree of hair loss for the day. Filter allows user to see what he/she wants on the screen and better determine the effects of the treatment.
Any questions feel free to ask. Everyone have a great weekend!
Best,Patrick

Seems like a good idea.
Thanks for the positive feedback. Hopefully we can get enough users where we can get feedback and continually improve the app. Also, we hope to get this on the Android OS as well as I know many people are on that platform.

Some people who aren't familiar with using calendar apps might not be aware that in many cases double tapping the day will bring up detailed info for the day. This is also the case for Track My Hair. Double tapping the day in the calendar will bring up the journal entry screen where the user can enter their specifics.
