New revolutionary DHI unshaven HT technique

Hi to all members,
It is with great pleasure to announce that our new unshaven extraction technique is now available in all European DHI clinics. The following video, presents our unshaven extraction technique step by step. With this technique there is no need to shave your head not even in line zones. This technique is a must for people that do not want to shave or have visible signs on their scalp after their HT.
The doctor works all over the donor area, as it is explained in the related video and if the patient returns for more sessions the whole procedure is repeated again. The doctor is capable to distinguish the part of the donor area that had been worked in previous sessions.
The size of the punches used is between 0,8-0,95mm, in some cases we use also 0,7 (thin hairs, single hair grafts etc) and in rare cases (multi hairs grafts, curly and thick hairs) we use 1 mm punches.
In DHI we charge by the session (time) and not by grafts. A Mega sessions last around 6-7 hours and on average we can extract around 1500 grafts (depending mainly on the donor area). The unshaven procedure does not have different cost, however, the grafts extracted with this method are less (on average 1200 on a Mega session).

This is great news for prospective patients whom want to disguise their procedure particulary females.

Out of curiousity, how have your Technicians adapted to this unshaven donor procedure?

Obviously some will adapt better than others. But in respect of finger/hand fatigue, will your Technicians have longer rest periods during hair transplant procedures?

Great video Peggy... The unshaven Fue is a major plus when a clinic can offer it with good results. Out of curiosity... Is the recipient area unshaven?

@Coopman, first of all thank you for your comment. I have to emphasize that at DHI only certified doctors perform the whole procedures and not technicians. About your question, the unshaven technique is being developed and perfected during the last 2 years. So actually, it was available two years ago, but right now all of our medical teams are capable to perform it, after a lot of training by our DHI Academy and we are now sure that each one of them can perform the same. That's why this procedure is now available in all of our European clinics.

PS. the patient in the relevant video had had a small Strip surgery before in another clinic.

My member is cooler than NN's
All I can say is that this is great news...

My main objection to having any further work was having to spend months with a shaved head... bringing more attention to the part of me that needed less :)

Though I'm not currently in the market for an HT... it would be nice to know an approximate cost... as this is charged per session... would you be able to give a rough guide ?

Thank you

Tim

As with all other techniques, the doctor can work the donor area again after six months with the condition that the extracted grafts will not be placed in the same area which had been worked six months ago. If this is not the case then you need to wait 8-10 months.
