Oral Minoxidil usage

What I have observed is that most of the crazy drug combinations in general are being used by very young guys and there is a reason for it.

Young guys are doing this is because they are literally dealing with half a brain. We all develop at different rates and for boys in general the prefrontal cortex develops in the 20 €™s and for some their late 20 €™s.

The prefrontal cortex helps with reasoning power and the minds ability to determine long term consequences. Without it the brain is making decisions on impulse. This is in fact why risky behavior is often seen in younger men. I would tend to believe there is an evolutionary reason for it. If we could convince some of the younger guys that they have half a brain without them taking it as a put down we might be able to solve many of the issues in the hair loss business.

Having half a brain is the same reason why you can often see young men being taken advantage of in the field of hair transplantation. Of course not everyone in the industry is unethical but this is the reason why it €™s so easy for some to take that road. The industry might not understand the physiological reasons but through observation they can easily pick up on someone that will make an impulsive decision so some will use that to their advantage. It €™s like taking money from a blind man €™s cup. I suppose we could blame the blind man for not being able to see €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦..but I don €™t know €¦ €¦ €¦..doesn €™t sound like a very good moral argument to me. Maybe we should concentrate on helping the person that needs money so bad that they would do such a thing.

In my opinion long term consumption of high blood pressure medications for some hair is a very bad idea. I think with topicals you might be able to justify it as it does not pose the same risk.

Others may have a different opinion.

I wouldn't take anything orally that can dramatically mess with your blood pressure for the sake of your hair. I know what its like to have epsiodes of high and low blood pressures. Stick with the topicals dude.

Thanks for the feedback guys. After researching further and careful consideration to the multitude of possible sides I've decided to give this a miss, the risks far outweigh the single benefit.

Ford it €™s good that you seeked out other opinions. I replied to one of those threads on another forum and of course I was met with at least one sarcastic comment. That €™s all part of the deal when you are trying to pass a message on to younger guys and they are in a group. You are hoping to help a few here and there that just read the message and give it some thought.

Do what is safe, only do what makes sense long term, and try not to get caught up in the hype as it's easy to do when someone is not around to dissuade you. Health should always take priority.

I thought this response by the guy known as the human Ken doll who died last month at 34 was interesting.

€œToday, I start a new cycle in my life, € he told reporters in January.

€œI am starting chemotherapy and I admit I €™m a little concerned about some side effects, like hair loss, nausea, my body €™s rejection (of chemotherapy), among other things, but I am no longer concerned with the issue of aesthetics. For me that doesn €™t matter. What matters is my health now, and I will fight for it. €

The Times observed: €œIn his five-month battle with cancer, Santebañes immediately had to confront his own physical deterioration, the undoing of what had become his personal identity and national image. It started with dark spots on his skin and bleeding gums, symptoms of the blood cancer. Once in treatment, his hair fell out. He €™d later be confined to a wheelchair, a scrawny pale shadow. €
On May 18, Santebañes, wearing a hat and heavy makeup and close to death, reflected on his tragic quest for physical perfection.
€œEveryone who wants to be pretty, who wants to be perfect, to call attention to themselves, to supplant this lack of €¦ of love, perhaps, € he told Hoje Em Dia.

If he survived, he said, he wouldn €™t do any more surgeries: €œI wouldn €™t do any more, what €™s done is done. €

Toppcat. Whilst reading the other site it became apparent that certain parties were pushing this product way too hard, hence I asked here to get a fair opinion.
The product comes with many risks just to have hair.

Glad to hear it dude, i have a chronic illness that at times can cause my blood pressure to be affected (both up and down) and trust me i wouldn't wish some of the symptoms caused by the blood pressure changes on my worst enemy, so i'm glad you have had second thoughts.;)
