Before I get going with this I want to stress that this is not a go at any particular Doctor or Clinic, yes I have had work last week this is just general curiosity
As you will see I have a piece of card placed up against the side of my head ( hair was shaved down to 1mm 1 week ago) . The card has a 1cm2 cut out in the middle which is the area the clinic refer to for packing figures !
As I am off work following my treatment I have been doing lots of research ( yes I know I perhaps should have done this prior)
However, so far (including my own) I have yet to see an amount of hair in a 1cm squared area (after treatment) that represents anywhere near the quoted number of hairs for that given 1cm2
Anyone cast any light on this ?

The area you have applied the cut out is your donor extraction site, the grafts per cm sq are in the transplanted area which is where you should place your cut out. High magnification may also be required to see all the grafts.

Hi,here is a picture take right after the implantwork on the second day.
As you where a strong bleeder you can very well see the difference between the freshly implanted area and the dry implant area behind.
As a highly professional hair transplant institute we keep track of all the data.
Total implant area : 73 cm2 (electronically measured)
The implanted area where not all placed at the same density.
Most was placed at around 40 grafts per cm2 on day 2, the density of day 1 is about 30 grafts cm2.
You will see a nice improvement, but as you mentioned yourselve you may want to have a second round to add even more density.

Hi Westcoaster I was only holding the cut out against side of my head to give an impression of the area we are talking about , i realise this is the donor area.
