hey so im new to the forums and ive been reading alot of information. but i have heard alot of good and bad things about spectral dnc, i know people were saying that it is bad but that was before they got the new product (when it was yellow or whatever) i am only 20 and i have a serious receding hair line and im on finistride and some vitamins. i definitely need something to thicken up the front. my hair right now is pretty long and the hair loss isnt noticeable because its long, but there is definitely hair loss and ive been to the doctor to confirm that. i am very upset and need help, can someone please tell me if its a good idea to start spectral dnc and their thoughts. also i dont wanna use it and then stop and my hair loss gets WORST. someone please help me, i dont know what ill do when i lose my hair...and im only 20!!!

What country are you from? I'd suggest consulting with few ht clinics near you to get their advice. Just because you consult with ht clinics does not mean surgery is recommended. They should be putting you on a hair loss prevention regimen with meds. Good luck.

well i already went to a clinic and he prescribed me finistride and to take vitamins, i just want to know if i should be using spectral dnc and if people recommend it. i am just afraid of using it and then stopping and then my hair gets worst...is that something that you think will happen? or when i stop will it not make it worst?

How long have you been on Finasteride? Many clinics recommend Fin and minoxidil, or better, Rogaine Foam. When you consulted with a ht clinic didn't they say if you stopped using Fin that your hair loss will progress? Same thing will occur if you stopped Minoxidil or Spectral dnc. If you're unsure of Spectral, why not use Rogaine foam since it's been around a lot longer.

The job of the medications is to halt or slow your hair loss progression. If you stop using them, your hair loss will go back to what it was supposed to do according to your genetic make up. You shouldn't be worse off just for trying any ht meds. If you're hearing that's a possibility, stay away from it.

As far as I know, our patients have used the fin & min combo, not fin with spectral dnc. Hopefully, you'll get feedback from those who have tried it.

I would stick with the Fin and see how it goes, if you try too many things at once it will be hard to figure out which one if not all are working for you.
