Is it normal to not see a lot of hairs coming through 1 week post surgery. I have noticed a lot of people will look to have growth first week or 2 before shedding. I havent noticed a lot of growth on mine on day 9 is this normal?

Sometimes you can retain some implanted hairs, that continue to grow, but usually for most people, the majority will shed over the next few weeks/first month.

It does look pretty standard from your pictures you’ve sent, and can see its healing. Hair shedding can be different for everybody. Some people shed a bit later, others sooner. In some rare cases I believe, some people retain the implanted hair. Try not to worry about it. Give it 3 months to then assess the progress you’ve had, as this is the standard month people start to see grafts coming on.

Think you’re in safe hands with Dr Bicer mate. She’s got a good reputation in the industry. It is difficult comparing your hair state to others, but you’re very early doors. Just give it a few months and I’m sure you’ll start to see some growth.

Honestly mate, don’t worry, we’ve all been there! It’s just a waiting game and managing your anticipation. Patience is key!

Everything looks normal. Post-op shedding happens to nearly every patient. Some shed quicker than others. Try not to stress as it`s all part of the process.
