Postop day 5/6 FUE 3500

Thought I would share my progress. Had a two day procedure (first day 2200 FUE, second day 1200 FUE). This is postop day 5 and 6. I assume the black dots are scabs that will eventually fall. I have been keeping it moist with saline spray.

Yes they are scabs. Have you started shampooing your scalp yet?

They will fall off when ready. You have a lot of scabs, probably 10-14 days post op I’d say yours will be gone.
Where did you have your transplant?

Day 8/9 pictures. The color of the scalp UNDER the scabs is DARK/DUSKY. Is that normal?? Been doing minoxidil and finasteride.

It looks like you may of had some dried blood under the scabs, this will make them appear darker.
I personally wouldn’t use topical minoxidil so soon after surgery. I’d wait until the scabs are gone and then see what condition the scalp is in.
Do you have pictures from your day of surgery showing the placement and donor extractions?
