Super Nervous About Upcoming Repair Surgery

The new transplanted grafts on virgin/non-repair areas is super super clean work. There was extremely small scabbing in those sites and most of those scabs have fallen out on its own it looks like. Very clean work.

The repair sites have pretty minor but still significant scabbing. Mwamba said this was due to hitting blood vessels on my scalp. No idea if this was due to the nature of the repair surgery or just my physiology. I'm guessing its due to the nature of the repair though since scabbing is only in these areas.

But even so, in these areas the scabbing is not that bad really. For reference, for my 1st HT that was operated on total virgin scalp, I had scabs all over from my shit surgeon. I think this speaks alot to the cleanliness of Mwambas work.

I am also washing my scalp 2x a day so think that is helping with the healing a lot.

I have not noticed any shedding yet. Like 75% of the new grafts, I can see the hair and could see it immediately after surgery. For 25% of the grafts (including the repair sites) I actually have not visibly seen the hair of the new grafts.

Perhaps this is the nature of implanting grafts and then scabbing occurs. I'm not sure if the hair would still be visible over the scalp.

But also in some virgin areas the hair was not visible to me even though I can clearly see the graft mark. Not sure if this hair was just transplanted at an extremely short length, or perhaps the graft/follicle is in resting phase or whatever.

Really not worried about it though bc its Mwamba so he knows what he's doing.

Hi @Bigmac and all - sorry for the delay. I started a new job last month and its just been a really busy time.

Today marks Month 3 on the dot. I have noticed very minor but significant baby hair popping thru since Month 2. This is great news as it makes me extremely confident growth will really get going once Month 4 get here.

My only real concern at this time is - for whatever reason - Mwamba apparently did not extract 50-ish badly angled grafts. I feel like when all the growth finally comes in, I can get it zapped out via electrolysis with no affect on the "illusion"/visual appearance, but I am confused on where to turn to for electrolysis. My big question is is electrolysis simple enough that it can be done in my local city or is it like hair transplants that only a few people can do it well and I'll need to travel?

Other than that my Month 3 is not really unique from anyone else's Month 3, just not a ton to report on yet.

Most people don't see much if anything at 3 months. The baby hairs popping through though could be an indicator of some early growth. The 50 or so mis angled grafts that are still there may need punching out if they stand out once your new grafts have grown in.
