4 week photos, I think I'm just about finished shedding. The nerves in my donor are still repairing themselves and it almost feels sore in places, but that's just the amount I had done. My recipient area is still numb to certain extent, its a weird feeling, if I touch it it tingles and yesterday I touched it on a ceiling at work and you would of thought someone had smacked me on the head.
Everyone hopes they don't shed and I was no exception, but I'm pretty much back to being bald (though I know this will pass). The first 2 weeks post op were brilliant as I had visually a new hairline. Two weeks on from that its the opposite, as I've shed, my usual hair has grown and I hate having hair at the sides so this weekend I'm going to get the clippers out for a zero.....I'll see if there is any scarring and it'll make me feel better.
I'm still experiencing ghost ponytail phobia, where when I put a tee shirt on I'm trying to pull it out and our lass has nothing to grab hold of now hahaha

I know exactly how you feel with the shedding, I hated it and wore a hat everywhere I went. Just try and think of the result I know it’s hard but in a couple more months you will start seeing a lots of growth.

You should be looking similar to your pre op now.
Hope all is going well.

Hi, thanks for asking.
I haven't been on for a while because there was nothing to tell, I'm at about 10 and a half weeks now and wasn't expecting any growth for another couple of weeks, but in the last 2 weeks I've noticed fine hairs appearing. Photos don't catch what the naked eye see's so I didnt bother putting them on.
I bought a cheap digital microscope off amazon which is a great toy for seeing new growth.

Nice pictures of the hairs popping through. The curly hair may have to go through a few growth cycles before it corrects itself
It's good seeing and feeling the stubbly spikey hairs coming through. Although still early for you, it is the start of your new appearance.

And I thought it was a rogue pube Hahaha,
I can only see hundreds of fine hairs at the moment......its amazing what a bit of magnification does.

The difference in magnification is amazing. This is why clinics who don’t use it often plant multi grafts in the hairline.
A rogue pube, hope you weren’t sleeping during your procedure.

It’s great when you start seeing things happening. I remember those days well. Happy growing

Looking forward to seeing how this transforms your apperance, you should have good density with that number of grafts aswell. :)

I've booked my appointment with them for April, just a waiting game now.

A few photos I forgot to put on, the first one is just short of 3 months, the second is nearly 4, then 4 months and 1 week. The final batch are 2 weeks after, at nearly 5 months.

It all depends on the light how it looks but all is growing well, no issues at all.

Must be a good feeling to see it coming in each month!
That's a good idea with a microscope, gives you confidence you can see progress -was it expensive?

£17.38 from amazon, just plugs straight in to your smart phone.....you just need to download a microscope app.

The growth is beginning to grow across the whole transplanted area. It shouldn't be too long before the illusion of density begins to kick in.
Good to hear you`re happy with the progress to date.

Time for the 6 month update, the first pic is a reminder of pre op.
Everything seems to be going ok, my recipient area has got pretty much all the feeling back in the nerves, which is good as just a light tap made you feel like you had been hit with a shovel. Having such a large area done it was to be expected, but until you go through it you are not quite ready for it.
After having no hair for such a long time it takes some getting used to, when I look in the mirror I think I've got a hat on haha, I must say that my shadow is looking good though
