I agree keep reading and most especially the history on some of the forums. Recently I read some history on the fitness industry and I admit having a good laugh at myself, 2 volumes 1200 pages with another volume to go. The extreme abdominal distress I was experiencing at 13 was caused by the products the fitness gurus were selling. It has really been jogging my memory as I ended up at the doctor €™s office on more than one occasion. I am really lucky they didn €™t remove my appendix as it was that bad I was doubled over in pain on several occasions. I €™m not exaggerating this all actually happened. But these guys were laughing all the way to the bank as they were well aware of all of this. Joe Weider, Bob Hoffman, Robert Kennedy, Bill Phillips yeah all the slicksters. It €™s also why when I see these protein powders promoted I have to laugh, it €™s industrial waste, it €™s garbage €¦ €¦ €¦.eat food.

So when that young rep is filling his pockets full of cash and pounding that ass, ask yourself does this guy really care about me €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦..think long and hard and look for cues is the best advice I can give.

It is very easy to take advantage of a twenty something as they are very naïve. It €™s equivalent to a 20 something getting a 12 year old to believe something. Think about that €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦..how hard would that be for you to do? But one must ask themselves why? Why would you destroy the life of a 12 years old to make some money? This is the part I can €™t quite seem to figure out when it €™s done to a 20 something. Be aware, educate yourself on marketing and how information is controlled, and try to learn from others that have made mistakes and those that have made the right choices with nothing to gain except wanting to help.

A good example and observation is the really low hairline guy that has been relegated to posting to one forum and how credible is that forum. Most forums will not even allow the mention of his name €¦ €¦ €¦..that €™s a cue. If I €™m not mistaken I believe the rep is still in his twenties which makes complete sense. Who else could you get to sell that bad advice to really young guys. It really is like misleading a 12 year old. Someone at 20 would more than likely not do it but a 14-15 year old €¦ €¦ €¦ €¦yeah maybe.

I have a low hairline, nothing I can do about it now though, thanks to Norton and Wellsbourne.

Hairtech I think what many don €™t realize is if you would have posted that 3 years ago you would have been crucified and probably banned from the forum you would have posted it to along with having it deleted. All these guys need to do is read forum history and see who said what and why they said it all becomes clear in time. Which doctors threatened to sue which patients and which doctors sued their own employees and then what did the rep do.

I think what many prospective patients just do not understand is that when you run, hide and say nothing you let it all continue so you become just as bad as those that are causing more harm than good. I have been watching these forums on what is going to be 15 years now. None of these guys have screwed me over because I just watched, read and spoke to people but I can €™t say the same for many others. Some guys that post to the board think it €™s as simple as asking about a doctor. I got a news flash for you son no one is going to come on here and bad mouth a doctor by name especially if they are not even a patient. It doesn €™t work that way. Maybe if they are a patient you will see it but then they don €™t last too long. You need to start getting in touch with other posters and speaking off the forums.

Lot of chameleons out there trying to change up but history speaks for itself. BTW that is a Cypress Hill quote ;)

I have a lot of favorite quotes most especially by Jim Rohn and I can relate because it €™s how I live my life.

€œIt is unfortunate, perhaps, that those who fail do not teach their experience for all to hear. If we had more opportunity to learn from the negative experiences of others, we might well save our own lives from certain disaster €

Meanwhile the gangstas are on the lame. They seemed to have left the crime scene for the moment but they will be back. Everyone knows the criminal comes back to the scene to check it out. They have seemed to have sent in €œThe Cleaner € haven €™t seen him for quite some time. Will be interesting to watch what happens next. If you don €™t understand this than obviously you have not earned you secret decoder ring and that only comes with time.

I'm a BHR patient, don't really want my hairline completely unplugged, I've had some done, too much of a mission to make it loads higher since there is still native hair low anyway.

Jessop it does become complicated because many on the forums come off as really nice guys, they seem very sincere. So how does one figure out if it is genuine or not? It becomes very difficult and this is why reading history does offer many clues. So going back and reading posts from 10 years ago and forward gives one a better view. Of course deleted posts will never be seen and this is where speaking to patients can sometimes be of help but not always.

wow great posts!

Jessop,

Genuine posters I guess are the ones that speak their minds and do not only promote an agenda. Not always nice and sincere BTW. Real.

Topcat,

You and I have banned from forums for just telling the truth. lol.

Below is excerpt from something Paul McGuire recently wrote on politics but one could also apply it to hair transplantation and forums. One needs to look at more than the pictures of results and try to take in the bigger picture of what they are seeing. Not quite sure how to put it but understand how this industry often operates before you think you know what you are seeing. One really needs to pick up a few books on various subjects I can €™t stress the importance of this enough for young guys. If you have a better understanding of how things really work even in the world of online forums you will make a much better decision. Maybe start with some books on marketing and some on the subject of online forums then expand from there. It will be well worth your time.

Hair tech I agree I do not worry about how others perceive me in real life. I say what is on my mind and what I believe is right and this has all been a direct result of my own experiences. We are only here for a set period of time instead of telling lies and getting caught up in a system of even bigger lies we should all be trying to something good and not be marching in step fearing rejection.

Mind Control 101 starts with the basics, the understanding that adults are very vulnerable to peer pressure, just like a bunch of teenagers in high school. Due to his or her insecurities and the tremendous psychological need to be loved and respected by society or his peers, an average person will act, dress, think, talk and behave in such a way as to be accepted and not rejected. In the subconscious of most men and women there is a deep terror of rejection! This fear of rejection by the group is one of the most powerful psychological drivers for brainwashing. In addition, it is simple and effective and it works.

Here is how the science of mind control plays out on the terrain of human consciousness. Tragically, the American people by and large are deeply insecure and through their insecurity they can be manipulated. That is why the advertising and marketing industries produce various ads that are targeted towards €œsolving € this insecurity. If you buy such and such a product you will be respected, considered sexually attractive, get the guy or girl of your dreams, recover your youth, and solve whatever problem the advertisers tell you that you have. Massive amounts of money are spent on advertisements each day to motivate you to buy that car that will make you look important, because, after all, you don €™t feel important. However, if you purchase this car, item of clothing, house, appliance, or technology like an iPhone you will be important, and therefore accepted.

Independent thinkers do not have this fear of rejection and they don €™t have to be accepted because they have chosen to develop an identity that transcends the matrix. The consequence of their choice to become independent thinkers is that their consciousness and intelligence rapidly expand. I am talking about true intelligence which demands the ability to think outside of the box and gain knowledge of history and a wide spectrum of fields and disciplines.

I wrote to him once asking him to fix it for me to meet Christopher Reeve, no response, Superman was a bit beyond his reach!

Sparky you should probably consider yourself lucky. The lyrics of an old Garth Brooks song come to mind....lol.....

Sometimes I thank God, for unanswered prayers
Remember when you €™re talkin €™ to the man upstairs
That just because he may not answer, doesn €™t mean he don €™t care
