just working like cazy... its 24/7 and more !! From the way things are going with the economy here I think I am one of the lucky few... so cant turn it down at the moment.. Also.. my mum is in hospital, which is not local... so have not a spare minute to myself .... "no peace for the wicked"... not a truer would said

Hi all...

well.... update time I guess.... its now 282 days post op.... thats just over 9 months...

I cant see a difference since the last time I posted any pictures... I have decided just to post the pictures as I took them.

Different angles etc make so much difference that its hard to give a true image of what my hair really looks like now...

anyway.. here goes..

I have just noticed on this one that it is possible to make out an old plug... or atleast the "cobblestone".... just got paranoid now !!!

as you can see.... lighting etc can make such a difference..................

I am still a little paranoid about my hairline looking too rounded... but again.. maybe thats just me..

Thanks for posting those Tim as there is a clear difference in the pictures due to the different lighting and this is something every prospective patient should know when researching.

I can see why you like that last picture.

Hey Tim,

I *just* saw these updated pics of yours. To be honest, I think your hair looks totally natural and has improved DRAMATICALLY from your pre-op pics. In addition to that, your hair style is the *single* most brutal style for guy's w/any degree of hair loss (i.e. pushed 'up' and 'back' all over) and it still holds nicely. I've been wearing my hair pushed 'forward' and 'up' in the front for *years* to camaflouge the loss. Also, it appears that your head is under direct light in these pics; is that the case?

All in all, I'm trying to say it looks nice and is a significant improvement from your pre op.

Cheers BigM....lighting is a big issue.... that is why research is so important. I know which picture I would use if I were an HT saleman. Seeing patients in the flesh and not just Photos is the only sure way of telling the result you can expect...

Thanks for your kind words.. Yes I took them under all under direct light.. I only ever seem to get a chance to take pics at night (could be the vampire in me)... but it was the best I could get to try and get a "true" picture.

I will try and get some taken in good strong day light as I feel this would give a more "real" image..

Tim,

You look awesome. Very natural. I have to admit that I was a little nervous about the round look but now that everything has grown out it looks perfectly natural and frames the face very well. It looks absolutely amazing. It gives you several options for hairstyles. I also appreciate your efforts to demonstrate so many different looks. Definitely important that newbies researching have to understand that typically things can look drastically different depending on the lighting.

PS--Don't stop taking the meds just so you have to go visit Sabine or Janna for a second surgery. Remember, I know how half that brain works.
