Who still performs excellent FUT hair transplants?

I'm researching hair transplants and although FUE is more common these days, I'd prefer FUT because the back of my donor zone is extremely dense but my sides aren't. That said, I'm having a hard time finding good surgeons who offer FUT. Most clinics these days seem to only offer FUE. Other than going to each doctor’s own clinic, is there a site that clearly indicates if they offer FUT in addition to FUE? Who are some of the best doctors still offering FUT these days?

Which country are you looking into? Most surgeons don't do FUT as it is very difficult to learn vs FUE. You often need be trained as a surgeon as most performing FUE are Drs and not surgeons.

You will find that most US Doctors offer FUT still and a decent number of UK Doctors the same. To get decent numbers from FUT then the scar should be extended into the sides of the scalp so yield will be affected by keeping the scar shorter or taking it into the sides. I would find some surgeons you like the results of that offer both FUT and FUE and let them talk to you about the pros and cons in your case.

Hi, I don’t think there are many FUT options these days. Most people avoid it because of the linear scar. Your donor area looks quite good though, so why do you prefer FUT over FUE?
