Would this treatment be possible on the temple areas and sides alone

I have thinning hair all over the top of my head but have been maintaining well using Finasteride.

I am fairly comfortable with the top of my head as it is but i have an issue with my receded temples. Would this treatment be possible on just the temple areas alone if i planned on keeping my hair extremely short at the sides.

I would have thought it would be possible dude if blended in at the sides. If it was me though i would go for the temp option first if you plan on just addressing this area.

Hi baldasbadger,

Are you willing to maintain Finasteride indefinitely? Assuming your loss has stabilsed because of meds it could be an important decision if you ever stopped using Fin.

Not seen pictures (apologies if you have posted them and not seen) but rebuilding the temples could be dangerous if you do have thinning throughout the top, like diffused thinning. One, building up the temples to blend with the area behind and maintain and natural looking hair line, and secondly if your hair diffuses/loses further you could be left with an awkward situation of temples and little density behind. Obviously you could then rebuild the area behind but it would then be important after fixing the hair line you have the donor resources to attain a natural looking coverage that match the hair line.
